Nice entry-level unit

We purchased this unit to review the membrane roofs on schools. It works well. Suprisingly well at detecting small penetrations in the roof. It picks up areas that are wet under the membrane and lets you focus in on those areas. Many of the 'leaks' we found had not fully presented themselves inside. One was a distance from the wet ceiling inside and would have been a chore to find.Next winter we will be using it to look at windows, doors, and vents.Very pleased.

I use this primarily inspecting walls on homes for insulation and am very pleased with it. Bays missing insulation show up without any problems. Very easy to use.

Works Well Enough

I purchased the TiS last year for home inspections for help in finding insulation loss and water intrusion. This camera has worked well in helping to identify both of these issues however the resolution is minimal, to be expected for the price. The camera is durable with a plastic casing and hand strap that allows easy handling without fear of dropping it. I use an inspection belt and this camera fits nicely on the hip in a gun type tool pouch. The focus takes some getting used to and the camera does take images as a closeup so it's not always easy to include a normal image for comparison unless you step back a ways from the area you are scanning. The 2GB card provided is as high as you can go on this camera, more than enough for most uses, but if you try to use a higher capacity card the camera will malfunction.If you are using this camera for the purpose of home inspections, insulation and moisture, it's worth the purchase.

We are pleased with this product

We are very happy with the Tekstyle Bed Tonneau cover. The quality is great and I see no difference in this product compared to the ones we could purchase in town for more money. The only thing I will mention is I think this should come with one more set of clamps to put on towards the tailgate. We purchased some at our local truck store and this holds the cover down just as we want it to, back by the tailgate. We are pleased with our purchase.

High-quality construction, excellent performance, and useful accessories. Made in Germany as of January 2013.

Having managed for years with Chem-Wik and spring-plunger vacuums, I decided it was time to buy a proper rework station. Because this is for home use, I was only considering self-contained units (i.e. rework stations that carry their own vacuum pump.) I selected the WR2000X partly because it was made in Germany. I expected (and received) a product that is of much higher quality than the many lower-priced units that have had their manufacturing moved to China.The Weller WR2000X is actually a combination of the WR2 two-channel station and the DXV80 desoldering pencil. The pencil was provided with the DX112 tip, which is fine for most semiconductor legs but a little too small for some high-current legs (on relay packs, etc.) I later purchased a DX114 tip to address this limitation.The WR2000X arrived to me very well packaged, with the WR2 and DXV80 boxed separately. The construction of the unit is heavy and rugged. Included were several cleaning tools (such as brushes and picks) as well as extra filters. Removal of the desoldering tip is simple and allows for easy maintenance.Regarding performance: the solder-extraction capability of this unit is exceptionally good. The vacuum is strong, and it leaves the work clean. A dramatic improvement over spring-powered desoldering plunger.
