Warm and dry does what it claims! It rained for 48 hrs near Paxson Alaska, our tent leaked all night and we woke up in a puddle, Dad was in a down filled bag and sponged. He woke up cursing and shivering so he went to the truck and slept with the heater on. I woke up in the flooded tent and never new it was leaking cuz of my Mt Raineer mummy bag! I felt so bad for him that I bought a second bag for christmas as a gift and had it shipped to him! A+ product with A+ service from Camping Maxx, Thank You!

Gorgeous shoes - amazing quality, as promised

I ordered a pair of these shoes for my girlfriend in late January . Miguel at Mythique worked with me for many days, over many emails, to make sure the shoes were measured just right - and I received the final shoes in March. While the process of getting the shoes is lengthy, they are definitely worth the wait for the price for hand made shoes! The best part is - you can chose from so many different options, that if you just love the shoes, you can have a leather/rubber sole for daily use.Highly recommended for anyone looking for dance shoes, or just gorgeous handmade shoes in general.

Really glad I heard about Mythique from someone else. Price is very good considering you're getting quality handmade shoes. I've danced in my shoes a few times & still need getting used to, but I think they'll feel more comfortable after some time has passed and the more I use them. Have gotten many compliments!Update on 5/6/13: I've worn the shoes for about 2 months now and they are great! They fit well. I use them about 2-3 hours a week and I think they'll last for a while since they are pretty sturdy.

Very clean

I use the overhead dust collection with my cabinet saw, not the contractor saw shown in the picture. It might look a little Rube Golderg, but it really works. Combined with the normal dust collection under the table, very little sawdust gets loose. The kit comes with a splitter so that both over and under dust collection work from the same 4" fitting. And, if your work is wide enough that the upright part of the arm gets in the way, it's easy to remove. A few minutes with an Allen wrench moves the tubing out of the way, and the regular blade guard takes just a few seconds to switch in.Maybe contractors won't care so much, working outdoors or in sites already dusty for other reasons. Indoors, though, with a stationary tool, it helps keep the shop a lot cleaner. Even if you don't mind the little dust that would otherwise get loose, anyone who shares the space with you will appreciate having less dust all over the place.-- wiredweird

Love it!

I love this costume, it looked really nice on. The web on your back was a big pain in the butt. It kept bending the whole time I was at a costume party. Now I can say it was partly to fault that the room was really crowded, so people kept bumping into it. (not something I had thought about ahead of time). The webs on the arms are great. I also had to sew a button on the back in order to keep it closed because the tie broke. Very nice for an inexpensive costume.

How nice when something really works!

I argued with myself for a long time before I bought this; I hated to spend the money just to do something I could do manually in a couple minutes when I set up by NexStar scope. But then I splurged and bought it, and I am happy I did. It works just like it is supposed to, and it saves time fiddling with another separate GPS device and clock, especially when traveling to a new viewing site. I think it may even improve the accuracy of the GoTo function, although I can't prove that (nor understand how it could if you enter your time and GPS coordinates from an accurate device rather than choosing the nearest city from the telescope list.) It seems a little expensive to me for what it does, but it is a nice gadget and well packaged to go with my scope. Bottom line: I am glad I got it and it works well.

Last summer (2012) I bought my first telescope, a Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT. As a complete novice, I had little success aligning the mount per the instructions and almost gave up. I bought this GPS unit as a last resort and enabled it in the utility menu following its installation, it worked like a charm. I no longer was required to enter the time, date, location, daylight savings, etc. Immediately following, I was able to better understand how to set the unit up without it but it still proved to be a convenience. If you don't have one, having your smart phone handy will provide you with most of the information that you need, it's just that you don't have to enter it every time that you set the telescope up.In short, this device is not a necessity but is rather a convenience (though I can't image why an interface to a smart phone hasn't been created yet to do the same thing for a lot less). As a postscript to this review, I sold my 127 SLT and upgraded to a Nexstar 8SE and as a separate option bought the CG-5 German equatorial. This device draws too much amperage when connected the CG-5 and throws errors on the remote controller. I troubleshot this with Celestron's technical support and they were unable to validate its compatibility. So when purchasing, make sure that the device is certified for the goto mount of which you plan to pair it with.

Quick and easy setup for a comforting piece of mind.

This is one of the reasons I updated my security system.Being able to have a monitored CO detector gives me a great sense of security. Most CO detectors just sound an alarm, but this one, threw my monitoring company, will get the fire department to the house even if we are knocked out.Programing is quick and painless, and once that was done it was just a call to the monitoring company to get it in service.I was told it could take up to two and a half weeks to be shipped, but it was here in three days.I'm planning on getting another one to put upstairs.

Love the blue dial and solar charge

I'm very happy with this wrist watch. The blue dial is a pleasure to look at and the convenience of solar charging should hopefully mean that I will never have to take this watch in for a battery change. Since most of the watch size etc. specifications are listed on Skagen's website in good detail I'm not going to repeat them here. The stuff that is missing is details of the charging time and what happens to the watch when it looses power. I have uploaded 3 photos to the product gallery which show the relevant details from the watch manual.In sunny conditions, the watch needs 16.9 hours for a full charge and 6 minutes for 1 days operation. With indoor fluorescent lighting those numbers are 484 hours and 2.8 hours. So make sure your watch gets enough sun exposure, I usually just keep it close to the windows when not in use and it has not given me any trouble in the one month I have owned it. Also when the watch looses power it should warn you by moving the seconds hand every 2 seconds instead of 1 second. I'm not sure of how these stats compare with other solar watches. One more thing, the hour and minute hand as well as all the 10 minute markers glow in the darkNow if only they made a version in black with titanium and swiss movement.UPDATE:I have been trying to find out how long this watch can run in the dark after a full charge since Skagen does not include that information. But since they mention that it uses a Miyota Japanese movement I searched to see what all solar movements are made my Miyota. It turns out that only one solar movement is listed on Miyotas webpage and looking at the pdf files posted there, it seem that the solar cell shape on this Skagen watch matches it. So my best guess is that this watch uses a Miyota 5L81 3 hands solar movement which can run upto 5 months after full-charge. I tried including links to the specification for that movement but Amazon fudged them up, so search for the words "Miyota 5L81 solar movement" on google without the quotes to find the pdf.

Cover is Faulty

Be very careful with this watch. I have owned numerous watches and never had a problem with smashing the case. I ordered this watch first nearly a year ago, but somehow inadvertenly the cover was smashed with crystal shattered. I loved it so much I decided to just order another one as the wait time at their servicing center is EXCESSIVE. Then the exact same thing happend to that watch is well. I think the crystal cover must be faulty on this line and sadly will not be purhcasing from them again.

the cutest snowboarding goggles, i think ever =)

got these for my birthday with lots of other snowboarding gear, & i just love 'em! they fit over my size XXL electric blue RED hi-fi II helmet too, which says a lot for whether or not they can fit over certain helmets. they may be a lil smaller than some goggles, but i kind of like that about 'em -- they don't swallow up your face or look over-sized or make you bug-eyed (if that's the correct way to explain it). have already received compliments on them & have only worn them twice to both my snowboarding lessons. [for those wondering, the bronze/silver chrome lens that comes on it is mirrored silver on the outside & see-through brownish on the inside.. hence the name... before i ordered mine, i had been a little confused on that because i wanted a mirrored lens, but by the product pic i couldn't really tell for sure if it was.] does fog up a bit at the inner top of goggles when i wear a certain neck gaiter up on my nose a bit underneath the bottom of the goggles, but i think that has more to do with the gaiter than these goggles. in my opinion, these are definitely a winner.
