- Versatile No Loose Parts #1 in Stability Highest Level of Quality Heavy Duty Flat and Easy to Set Up
- The Crane Laptop Stand is the first to give the DJ and performer what he needs, at a price that he can afford. Deceptively simple at first glance, the Crane Stand is truly a marvel of design that gives you industrial strength effectiveness while being sexy enough to display at the museum of modern art. The Crane Stand keeps you looking good behind the decks, unlike other cheap, flimsy, industrial-looking portable stands.
- The Crane Laptop Stand's adjustable 3-legged design allows you to slide it under any DJ mixer, turntable or CDJ, giving you perfect placement of your laptop in any dj booth, without sacrificing sturdiness of the stand. Weighing only 2.8 pounds, the Crane Stand's space-age design is capable of supporting the weight of not only the heaviest laptop, but also the largest CDJ or midi controller. Similarly capable stands cost over $300 and are not portable at all because they are made for club installations instead of gigging DJs
Product Description

Great DJ Laptop stand for the price
By P. Hansen
This laptop stand has a great overall design and is very solid and sturdy, especially compared to several other DJ laptop stands that I have used. The only issue I had with it is the lack of angle and height adjustments with the tray and the leg unlike the Crane Pro which runs 3x as much. The angle limitations weren't that bad, it was more the height. Even though it doesn't sound like much, even a 2-4" variance for a laptop stand does provide a lot of value in my opinion, especially when you perform at various venues and settings where the set up may vary, like table height, utilization of cases or not, surface real estate and placement of your equipment. This stand utilizes a common push button locking mechanism for switching from the folded closed position, to the unfolded "open" position. Once you rotate the laptop tray and the leg, there is only one option setting into where it will lock in the open position, thus essentially permitting only a single angle position of the tray and leg alone with only one height setting as well. The single middle "leg" is a nice feature where it can reside under most mixers without any obstruction or interference. Some other stands do not work too well if they have a wider footprint.I thought that maybe it might be possible to drill some other holes to offer other positions for my personal preference, but unfortunately after reviewing the product up close, there wasn't really a way to try to do that based on how the push button mechanism and existing position settings were designed.I ended up getting the Crane Pro instead which utilizes a quick-release lever/axel system similar to those found on bicycle seat clamps and wheel axels. It allows for any angle adjustment for the tray and the leg, which does permit some height adjustment based on the angles you can manipulate of the tray and leg, although the Pro still doesn't really have dedicated height adjustment.Overall though, if you do not require flexible settings on a laptop stand, and/or want a solid affordable portable stand, this is it. I think it is a better design than many others that are in this price range.

Who needs a Crane Stand Pro?
By BoogieJunior
Awesome, solid construction, it locks in place really well, and it's easy to transport. The thing is solid as a rock, and as long as you don't need the adjustable height, I'd buy this over the Crane Stand Pro any day. Which I did. Twice. Because it's that awesome. It's heavier than it looks, but still light enough to transport. It'll wobble a bit if you've got a controller or a keyboard on it that you like to pound on, but it'll stay put. If you put your laptop on this thing, it's gonna take some work to knock it down.

It's perfect
By Kelly
I use it in my house and it doesn't take up a lot of space. It's a little heavy but it's a great deal
