MEET THE ALL NEW MODEL "201" - 401

Let me introduce myself. I am John LaCourse aka Wilcox1976 on Amazon and eBay. By God's grace I have been selling and fixing TVG's since early 2009.The model 401 shown is basically a repackaged version of the model 201. It still retains all the customizable audience groups: Parents, Family, Kids, Other. It has the individual filter settings for Religious uses of God's Name, Sexual references and He** and D*mn. You can still select 3 modes for captions: Off-On Mute-On always. You can still use Composite or S-Video and right and left line level audio. You can use the audio inputs for filtering Dolby 5.1 using digital coax. It still has a password for locking the configuration.So much for similarities... It now features a remote control so you change change settings and inputs from your easy chair. The Toslink optical audio input/output has been eliminated on the 401.The manual has been updated and contains a lot of information about todays hookups, systems, workarounds and problems.The remote control is the only way to control the TVG 401-if you loose or misplace it there are no controls on the box to operate it.One important question folks ask me: "I have an HDTV so I can't use anything but the model 501. Right?" This is incorrect. All TV's made today still retain many of the old connections Composite, S-Video, Component video and line level audio, mostly on RCA jacks. If you are using these type connections now to hookup cable/satellite/DVD/VCR/TiVo you can still use the 401 or ANY OLDER TVG product. As a matter of fact if you are dealing with sources that DO NOT have HDMI connections then you would not be able to use the 501 anyway since HDMI is the only input and output on the 501 box!I have performed tests on the 401 and find that it really does not filter any better or worse then the 201/301 models.If you 401 is broke and not under warranty contact me and I can fix it. I wish it worked better

This is my second TVGuardian. The first was the TVGuardian 201. My TVGuardian 201 seemed to catch a lot more words then my TVGuardian 401. My first one lasted about 18 months then quit. I replaced it with the 401 model. The TVGuardian 401 works good except it allows about one fourth to one half the bad words to be said. It is much easier then the model 201 to set up and it also comes with a remote control. I feel the price is high for the results I get on my TVGuardian 401. I would not mind paying more if it worked better, but to pay $141.00 and still have to hear the words I am paying not to hear seems like a waste of money. I hope in the future they can produce a TVGuardian that works better.

The rear air diffuser looks great on my car. I thought it would be a bit wider/bigger but still fills out the lower bumper nicely. Installation is easy but does require a certain tool which is not included, which could make it more difficult.

Green Lightscribe disks work great!

I use Lightscribe disks for several different projects and like to use different colors for different projects. I occasionally have trouble with the DVD drive recognizing that the Lightscribe DVD's are Lightscribe compatible. I have been through a 100 pack of the MBI DVD's and have not had one fail. I have about 1 out of ten fail with other brands. That could be problems with my burner but I suspect that it is the quality of the disks.

Not made in USA

I was looking for Thorogood boots because they are union made in the USA. My Chinese made Bates similar to these just didn't last. When these Thorogoods came in they were marked made in China. They had a tag with 1-800-826-0002 on it. I called and they are a US company that makes boots in America. They also import some models such as these. To see which are US made and which aren't you have to go to their website at weinbrennerusa.com and check each model. I returned these (they look just like the Bates that wore out quick) and ordered 834-6874s. This wasn't Amazon's fault but they took them back no problem.

Good boot.

I have had 2 pair of this and about to get my 3rd pair. I have had magnums, bates, and a few others. These feel great to wear all day long. The shoe is narrow so if you have a wider foot make sure to get the right size. I found that the shoe size length was off. I wear a 12- 12 1/2 but in these I wear and 11 1/2. The stores I have worked with have taken back the boot and given me the correct size. I get about 2yr to 2 1/2yrs out of them before I have to replace them. My first pair I walked to sole out of them and the 2nd I blew out the side. Im a firefighter at a very busy station so I put a lot of wear and tear on these boots. I like the 6" cut also. Great support for the ankle and easier to take off and on then the 8".

Much better quality than I expected. Heavy Duty, warm, with plenty room for thick socks. The side zipper makes it easy to get them on and off. Great grip in the snow too.

I wish I had purchased this years ago. I do stained glass, and have always taken my pattern to Kinko's to enlarge to the size I needed. No more! I just scan it on my copier and than size it on my computer. It prints our perfectly. It is very user friendly and fun to use. A great tool to have. I highly recommend it.

I just recently returned to working with stained glass and have been going to the local copier store to get enlargements of patterns. I live in a rural area and there are not too many options for copying services. When I saw this product (ASIN:B0040VWOVS Rapid Resizer]] on Amazon, I was excited to think I could save trips to the copier (where they will not allow the customer to utilize the machine) and also experiment with different sizes of projects. So far, I have been very pleased with this software. The directions are very easy to follow and it works well with my scanner to reproduce patterns at whatever size I have needed. I am in the beginning stages of putting together a stained glass workshop in my home and this is a great addition to my "must have" tools. It also allows me to save patterns on my hard drive for future use and to store patterns that I find on the web.

Everything you possibly want and MORE!!

Anyone doing ANYTHING using printed patterns that are oversized in any way, and you would like to use a computer printer to print out those patterns, NEEDS to get this product.I have been using it for some time now and it has NEVER failed to give me just what i want and do it extremely and exceptionally well.Rapid Resizer just CANNOT be beat.I use it for all patterns for my Scrollsawing that are larger than the standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. first, I copy them using the 'stich-assist' of my scanner then Rapid Resizer easily and accuratley brings the pattern back to the originally larger size and it will print it on the appropriate number of sheets of paper needed, you just match the lines and tape together the final pattern.It also allows you to take a small pattern and resize it up as larger and print that, too!It is just PERFECT for all these needs and more.

Installed in my HP3600N and it recognized it as "HP Genuine". Printed nicely with no issues.As of now I am sold on these reman cartridges. I have had this printer since 2005 and have spent quite a bit of money on buying original HP cartridges over the years. I am excited to have found these cartridges.My only gripe is that it does not appear that I can recycle this cartridge easily as the manufacturer does not provide a prepaid label for return of the used cartridge or instructions for recycling.

Aprilaire whole house air cleaners are the best

I replaced my furnace in 2006 and added a whole house electronic/media air filter that attaches to the furnace itself. Aprilaire is the brand name. I am so impressed. My family has allergies, and we all have trouble with the dust in the air. From the very first night of this being installed - we can tell the difference. No more waking up in the morning stuffed up. I have minimal dust in my house, my daughter in law who has horrible trouble with cigarette smoke thought we had quite smoking because the smell is no longer in the house. Although it was spendy ($900.00 in 2006) it is well worth it. The replacement filters I have been purchasing from the dealer I bought the furnace from - $85.00 each then I found this website - $37.00 - WOW! and no shipping costs. I would recommend an Aprilaire whole house cleaner for anyone thinking about purchasing one of these.

This is a fantastic camera. Nikon's SLRs are pretty good in general, but I am very impressed by how good this one is. I took several great pictures of the recent lunar eclipse using this and I was blown away with how they turned out.Anyways, this is more of a review of the kit. Cameta Camera shipped the product fast and the packaging was pretty good. The kit is a decent price. The filters were great and the carrying case is Nikon brand which has ample room for the components. Everything that was in the kit (except the tripod) fits nicely in the case with room to spare. It's very nice to have the 300mm lens included and the 16gb SD card gets you started right away.The on thing I didn't like about the kit is the tripod. It's really flimsy and the camera really is too heavy for it. It didn't provide a firm footing, especially with the 300mm lens attached. As a matter of fact, I was so worried that I kept the camera strap around my neck while I was shooting with the tripod. I have a smaller point and shoot camera, so I can use this tripod for that. But, for the 3100 you really really need a better tripod.

Great Deal

Everything promised arrived in one package, well wrapped and undamaged. All the tools needed to take great pictures is in the deal. As a novice with DSLR cameras took really great pictures during the holidays. Camera features are fantastic and easy to use. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in photography.

Clean Air

Outstanding product. Fits the Aprilaire filter of my A/C unit perfectly. I converted my Aprilaire furnace filter system from the 201 to the 213. The new system is much easier to change filters and it's easy to pull out the old filter and slide in the new filter. These filters are excellent and arrived quickly and were in excellent condition.

Fantastic camera from a great company

I ordered this package on Amazon after doing my research at a lot of local electronics shops plus one very well-respected camera shop. I found this to be much less expensive on amazon and I thought this package was absolutely perfect...exactly what I wanted. It included everything except a USB which is a standard connection so I happened to have one around the house that worked. I cannot tell you how many people have seen my pics and are now ordering this camera. It's easy to use for those who want to use in fully automatic mode, but it will allow you to use it fully manually as well, and at many different steps in between fully manual and automatic. I ordered this through Cameta Camera and took a HUGE gamble trying to get it a week before our disney world trip. I did not pay for extra shipping and their shipping window extended after the time I was leaving on my trip. However, I was extremely impressed that they were able to get it in my hands within 5 days of ordering it, in perfect time for me to practice a day before we left, and take along on our vacation. (I was even more impressed because the camera was stalled in Chicago because of a snow storm and still made it to me quickly). Love everything about my purchase from Amazon...NIKON....and Cameta Camera. Recommend to all!!!!
