More than i hope

From packaging to each of the elements included therein, the product was better than expected. The Nikon D3100 shows potential for those who are beginners in the world of photography, this team is excellent and the 55-200 lens can achieve great things. It is an excellent team, functional, lighter than I thought and therefore the transfer is done smoothly. If I can mention that in my opinion, the mode selection wheel can be quite sensitive and we recommend a flash diffuser or use an external flash to get good photos of interiors. Great cloak, lint magnet

This is a fun cloak and I would say overall it's probably better than the other cloaks in the price bracket. I like how long it is (i'm 6' and it touches the ground) and the fact that it is lined. The material is soft and durable though obviously not top notch, but if you wanted that you would buy a top notch cloak and spend hundreds of dollars on it.My issues with the cloak are that due to the material used for the outer portion this thing is like a walking vacuum and anything it touches gets cleaned while it continues to get more and more lint dust and other debris all over it, especially on the hem as it's sweeping the floor for you as you walk. The other issue is the hood, it's not really very big, and it rests kind of weird on your head, laying out a bit wide, which is ok, but it isn't very deep so i found the balance of the material as it rests on the head a bit precarious with the satin lining.For the price, it's a good buy and the things i take issue with may not bug you at all, especially if your house is cleaner than mine apparently is.

this is a cloak/cape not a toy

i ordered this because when i saw the pictures it did what i wanted it to do, close all the way when i was standing still. i just opened it and put it on for the first time and it doesnt close the way they show in the pictures, also in the pictures it looks alot thicker than it really is. i got this because the one i have had for a few years was too short and too thin. this one isnt much thicker and i would've liked the hood to come forward a little more, not just pool at the base of the neck. over all for the price its not bad it matches my coustume well and its the leingth i wanted.

Worth buying

Ordered this the other day for Halloween after looking through every similar item I could find. This one looked like the highest quality so I took a chance. Very glad I did. It is very well constructed, looks great. Nice feel and weight to it. Wears very well and is comfortable. Sits perfectly on my shoulders and the hood is perfect. I was worried about the length because I am 6'4" and it falls perfectly at my ankles, so it doesn't drag on the ground but it covers everything but my feet. What was purchased for a one-time event will probably get a lot of use.

Great starter kit for new photographers

I picked up this kit and ran with it as my first foray into serious camera hardware. I've owned point-and-shoots and digital camera-equipped smartphones up until now--but it was easy to get the basics of this equipment in my brain. As a non-professional, that's all I'll say about the camera itself and its kit lenses. They work great, look great, and were very affordable.The accessories the kit comes with are priceless. Two solid UV filters for both kit lenses--always a plus. Plenty of cleaning supplies to get you up and running--and the air nozzle is a plus, most definitely. I love the USB flash adapter it comes with, although the caps for it can come loose and be lost--so be aware of that.It comes with a 16GB flash card. I know that flash memory is dirt cheap now, anyways, but that just adds to the deal. It's a reputable brand (SanDisk) with a high capacity. Can't go wrong. The little pocket that comes with the flash card is gimmicky--but perhaps not if you have multiple cards. I don't see myself realistically using all of those 16GB of storage in one outing--but you never know. Can't hurt to have.The case is solid. It has two adjustable panels that are affixed with velcro for moving around--but it is definitely designed with this specific kit in mind. Enough space for the body, two lenses, and some basic accessories you may need on the move. If you want to expand your collection of lenses, you may have to eventually buy a new case that can hold it (depending on the form factor of the lens).Here is my one major gripe. The camera strap that comes with the kit (not the carrying case strap--the actual camera strap) is godawful. It has fallen off and resulted in a drop at least once every time i use it. It is not a sudden failure, though. If you keep an eye on it, you can see the straps slowly loosen. If you can stay on top of it--good on you--but I have seen the strap fail multiple times and I only preserved the camera through my apparently cat-like reflexes. Amazing how fast you react with a several-hundred dollar piece of equipment is on the line!It's a great buy for a new photographer--just be wary of the included camera strap! Everything else is great and it's a good deal!

Nikon Camera

I bought this camera, after much research, to supplant my Nikon adn Cannon film gear. The camera was delivered earlier then expected and in excellent shape. The Camera itself has exceeded my expectations, even on the "automatic settings(sport, low light, portrait etc.) Since the first pictures I took were of my newborn grandchild I was particularly happy with the silent mode which prevented my waking him. Nikon has many classes to improve your technique and, by extension your pictures that i am going to take. this is a definite reccommendation to anyone, beginner or advanced who is looking for an additional or replacement camera.

The camera while not as light as others has a solid feel. It's ability to take pictures in low light is excellent. The controls are well thought out and I am looking forward to using the camera. The only negative, after using point and shoot cameras is the necessity for switching lens when zooming.

I like this Kit

I am new at DSLR, so instead of buying a single D3100, I need to buy a kit, There are two reasons let me choose this kit: First. most of the items in this kit is useful for me, what I really need in this kit is the camera,the memory card and the bag, but after I received this kit, I found that the UV filter and the LCD screen protecter are also useful, they are good choice to protect LCD screen and Lens, and also if you don't have a card reader slot on your computer, you will also need the card reader in this kit. The second reason is the price, it is much cheaper to buy a kit than to buy these items seperatly, I compared this seller's kit with other's seller's kit also, this price is good, accturely, when I bought it, the price is around 680 dollars, it's cut now, but it is also a good price at the time when I bought it. Finally, the product is as good as discribed, and shipping service is good and fast, I got what I want.Thanks!

It is a good camera...my first DSLR

It came earlier than promised!!! Good job!I am a novice when it comes to photography, but have had quite a few cameras already. I used to own the Nikon N70 and was quite happy with its performance, but then came the convenience of the POINT-AND-SHOOT. I never really like these compact ones, but my wife nagged me all the time about always wanting small and easy to use cameras. So, I gave in for the last three little ones. This time, I stood my ground and purchased this D3100 since both of my kids are in sports activities such as soccer and karate etc... The point-and-shoot couldn't do squat, but this D3100 seems to be doing the job. I am still in the play-around-with-it mode, but have shot quite a few nice action pictures. Since it is winter here in the Northeast and the sports are being played indoor now, lighting is a limitting factor and so the pics are not as great as they could be--I hope. The shutter speed is not the best, but at 3/sec is adequate for most of the situations that people commonly encounter.The included lense is fairly good and the VR feature works great. Auto-focus is relatively quick, but a bit high on the noise---this gets recorded if you do Video-recording! I recommend using manual focus during filming. I am looking for a more powerful zoom lense as I am sure the 18-55mm is not adequate out on the soccer fields....overall, I am fairly happy with its performance!

Pretty good for the price

I purchased this case 3 years ago and travel by air every one to two weeks. So around 100 flights to date. Sometimes I check it if I have my Mandolin to carry-on, but usually it is rolled aboard. After 3 years I need to replace it. The bag still functions perfectly, the zippers are good and no penetrations or gashes in the nylon, the wheels have started to make a bit of a noise but still roll smoothly and the handle extends/retracts just fine although it will unlock and slip down if you simply rest a hand on it for a few seconds. THe reason that it is being retired is that the internal box which holds the yoke into which the handle slides has come adrift from the box and is getting looser and looser.I am pretty happy with the bag. For the price it has performed as well as I expected. I have been reading the reviews of TravelPro (which seems to have gone downhill in quality) Eagle Creek (company has new owners and has also gone down in quality) and Briggs Riley (mediocre reviews). All told I am currently deciding between a $350+ for top rated Tumi and hoping it will last 6 years, or another $150 or so for a replacement Pathfinder.

Tow Hook
Tow Hooks are rated with a towing capacity up to 5,500 pounds or 1.5 times the vehicles GVWR (depending on vehicle). These tow hooks securely mount to the frame and are fully tested for durability and load capacity.

I had to take it to a mechanic I know thought I could put them on when I looked at the bolt holes but when it came there was extra heavey duty brackets, but well worth the extra cost

Mopar tow hooks

What can I say, these are factory tow hooks and they were significantly cheaper than buying them from my dealer even after I asked if they were interested in price matching.Now why didn't Dodge originally install them on a 4x4 truck is another story!

Lightest Fountain pen I have ever used

The nib is beautiful, the pen writes smooth, but the weight is not to my pleasing. I do realize I bought a clear, plastic pen, but the least pilot could do is make the plastic thicker and increase the heft.

What a nib!!!

This is perhaps my favourite fountain pen to date. The weight is perfect, and the nib is fantastic. The body length is perfect for writing without have to post the cap. Oh, what a nib!! I highly recommend getting this one if you like a fine nib. It provides me just enough feedback to bring out the best in my writing. It also flexes enough that the line variations appear very nicely in your writing and I don't do calligraphy. There are some fountain pens that have nibs so stiff that it may as well be that you get a regular pen. However, this one introduces you nicely to what using a fountain pen is really about.

Great mats

These things are great but I messed up. I wanted the custom mats for the front to match the custom mats I have in back. These are semi-custom which means it will fit the truck but it isn't molded to the floor pan like the custom ones. Still I'm happy with them and would recommend them.

Good bag, doesn't flip when rolling, could use 2nd pocket

I ended up buying this exact bag (OK, not exact... mine is black) from the pro shop of my Ocala, Fl bowling lanes. His price was only four dollars more, so it came out less than this one that includes shipping. Plus, I got to support my local bowling pro shop, so it will pay me back with his support later.My tag said this has two storage compartments PLUS the top compartment for shoes... my bag only has a storage compartment on one side. Not a big deal, but not what their label states. I bought a bag for me and one for my wife... and both rolled out to our car without flopping to the side. (My sister complains her bag flops easily... but a different one-ball bag).I like the handle on the top (or end), it helps in picking it up to put in my F-150. The bowling balls have small cradles to hold them in place, with good padding on the bottom side (when upright) to protect your balls (good to protect your balls!). The shoe compartment is over-sized for my size 11 shoes, so plenty of room for the bigfoots out there. The one side compartment is long, running the length of the bag, but only about 3.5" deep.I might stitch a 2nd pocket on the other side, but then... do I need it? I'd just end up packing more crap into my bag, so I guess it's not really necessary.Bottom line, if your local pro shop can beat this price (don't overlook shipping) then support him. He'll be there to support you when your ball gets those chips and scratches that all bowling lanes inflict on your balls. And no one likes their balls with chips or scratches!!Hope this helps you...

Recently purchased two bowling balls and this bag carries them perfectly. Description only stated that shoe pocket would only fit a single pair but we have been able to hold two pairs if one turned upside down. Very convenient if used by a couple with single bowling balls.
