Amazing product - worth every penny!

We bought this product in 2005 when my kids were 2 & 5. Seven years later (2012), my kids were extremely sad to see it go.As my husband said "this is one of the best things we've ever spent money on". Believe me, he rarely says that!On a use level, this was only second to the outdoor swing set. On a cost per use standpoint I'd say it was pennies for each use. No other purchase in our household (perhaps other than the ipod my daughter now sports) has gotten more consistent use!Enjoyment and use: 5 starsWe located this product in a doorway near our downstairs bathroom. My kids are highly active (both have ADD) and need to burn energy in order to be the best citizens of the household they can be. They would always pop on an off this when walking by, and we'd constantly find them on it throughout the day. When friends came over it was the first thing they wanted to do. On rainy days I'd direct them to do some time on the bars! You can quickly and easily vary the height and sizing on this so it suits the size needs of the child using it. I should note that we almost exclusively used the bar set up and only used the swing a handful of times. While the swing was completely calming and wonderful, just as described, the kids got so much use from the bar set up that we tended to forget about the swing - my bad as a mom since it's a great item! From a kids enjoyment and use standpoint it was a definite 5 star purchase.Sensory assistance: 5 starsThis product does everything the description claims about building core and body strength. Easy to use at any level and quickly builds them up.Set up and safety: 5 starsIt holds up to 175 lbs and I can tell you that is totally accurate! Super easy to put up yet extremely safe and stable once in.Other than one time when we took it on vacation, it remained in the same spot for years. Our kids used it, friends used, our kids used it WITH friends at the same time and the product never budged.My litmus test is always asking "would I do this again?" and my answer is a resounding "yes!"Would I do anything differently? Yes.I would be certain to put some clear protective product over the doorway corners since over 7 years these took a bit of a beating (I had to putty them a little before my recent repainting of the area.) Also, just be sure the wall paint used in the area is semigloss or something which is easily washable since due to high activity there will be plenty of little handprints in the area! (So much fun!) On a like note, I would definitely position it in the same place, or another high activity area of the house on the first floor.Loved, loved, loved this!Added note: Since the kids have outgrown this, I was thinking of selling it. My husband stopped me before I could, saying my 9 year old son wants a chin up bar in his room and this will be perfect! This is truly an item that keeps on going!
