Great Sound Definition

I recently upgraded my A/V receiver to a Yamaha RX-V667 and, of course, that triggered more 'upgrades' (you know how that goes).I have a nice, older pair of M&K bookshelf speakers in the guest room, where my home theater resides; with the new receiver they were way outperforming the center channel speaker (an older, smaller Klipsch model).A local retailer is going out of business, so I had the opportunity to pick up the RC-62 II for an incredible price.All I can say is: 'wow'. The sound quality is really crisp and provides an enhancement to the dialog / center channel track I've not heard before. To to frank, I heard the biggest difference watching season 2 of In Treatment - quiet dialog, with great attention to audio detail paid by the production team (e.g. lots of subtle background sound effects - you really feel like you are sitting in Paul Weston's office).Highly recommended for performance, but be careful: the deep cabinet provides great sonic performance, but takes up a lot of space and is heavy.

Crisp

Purchased this 62-II center channel from world wide stereo, it is so crisp and precise,... My normal listening volume on my Denon surround sound receiver has been lowered dramtically, bc of how well these speakers reproduce, and the fact that they are not power hungry... very efficent. Quality heavy cabinet contstruction. I have had it hooked up for two weeks, and am very happy with it, looking forward to getting the front towers to go with it.

Unbelievably GREAT!!

I purchased the Klipsch RC-62II as an upgrade from my RC-52 and the level of improvement is astounding! I can't get over the major bump in quality and have to hand it to the Klipsch engineering team for a job well done.For those of you who are not familiar with Klipsch, their stuff has been around for many many years. They offer an excellent 5 year warranty on all their speakers and they are truly made to last. Most of my Klipsch are now going on 4 years and are used daily with ZERO issues. I feed them all (including this center channel) with 110 watts RMS each from a Denon AVR (made in Japan model) and it is a perfect fit.My system had consisted of two RB-81's for left and right mains, a RC-52 for the center, two RS-12d subs and two RS 52's for my surrounds. While the RS 52's were fine for surrounds they don't quite match the voicing of my left and right Klipsch mains but worked very well for movies. Back when I purchased the components I just couldn't afford the RC-62 and had to settle for the much lower priced RC-52. I am SO GLAD I upgraded to the RC-62 II.It makes such a MAJOR difference. Pans on screen from left to right are 100% seamless now with dialogue as crisp and clear and full range as you could ever want. Truly it is a HUGE step up from the 52.The overall construction and materials used for the Klipsch reference series are very very good. Solid and well put together, beautiful black finish with very classy removable magnetic grilles , 5-way binding posts , optional adhesive rubber feet and a set screw that enables you to angle the speaker up or down depending on your listening position.IN the first day I tried a variety of program material. Everything from low budget 80's movies, to 1940's mono classics, to the latest DTS-HD and Dolby TruHD soundtracks. EVERYTHING sounds better now and is much improved. The experience was so enveloping that I actually felt my TV had become larger and I was sucked right into the movie. Now THAT'S entertainment!The secret to a GREAT surround speaker system is MATCHED voicing. AS much as I loved my Klipsch system before, adding the RC-62 II instantly transformed my setup into one giant speaker and I am no longer aware of any transitions between them. IN other words, it is truly seamless now. Basically, if you are considering THIS speaker then seriously consider Klipsch all the way around with RB or RF-82's and you will go to movie sound heaven!If you can afford one of these, you WILL NOT be disappointed in the sound and performance of the Klipsch RC-62 II ! It is totally awesome and takes my home theater to the next level. (and beyond!!) 100% Recommended!

Don't do it

I would give this product zero stars if it were an option...I purchased this massage chair over other chairs because of the adjustable chest pad. Based on the picture the seat looked like a bicycle banana seat which I thought was odd but would be okay. To my immense surprise, when I received the chair the seat was a SADDLE seat!!, protruding horn and all. I immediately knew why the seller did not post a picture with multiple views of the chair or the ability to zoom in to see it a little closer. The saddle seat was very uncomfortable for a lady to sit on and downright PAINFULL for a male. I am a student of massage therapy and was looking for a decent chair in my price range for practice. I was unable to practice on this chair as my father REFUSED to sit on it due to the horn on the saddle pushing firmly into you know where.I tried to return the product as it was misrepresented (on purpose I am sure) but they make YOU pay for return shipping which was $81 !!! the price of the chair. I refuse to pay that much just to get rid of it, that would negate any refund I would receive. Do not order this chair or any that you cannot get a 360 view and/or a closer view of. If the seller wont let you see the product close up, there is probably a reason.

A unique and different accent sound

The ddrum Carmine Appice Shade cymbal is a unique and different accent for your drum kit. I integrated this into my arsenal of Paiste Colorsound-treated Alphas, a black 2002 crash, and a Stewart Copeland Blue Bell Ride. I did try it once and could not get along with it. But after re-purchasing one, I now love the way it sounds with the rest of my kit.The quality is there- after all, it IS a Sabian-built cymbal. It is brass, which makes the cymbal relatively inexpensive and not a heart-breaker if your guitar player decides to crash it with his guitar peg head; however, it is somewhat rare ('cos I can't find it in many places), so on second thought- put a stick in your guitar player's eye if he tries to crash this cymbal with his guitar!!! Amazon is the only place I have seen this. I haven't seen one at ANY of the ddrum dealers I have visited.The sound is between a china and a splash. There are a few harsh overtones, but the target market is not jazzers, after all. It will rattle your fillings, but the sustain is QUITE short. I have ridden it, and it's fine if I am wearing ear plugs. I just couldn't find a china accent cymbal I really liked, and after jettisoning this cymbal once before- it became CLEAR that this was my accent cymbal. And at this price, you can afford to toss it if you don't like it. I was going to use it as a lampshade if I didn't like it this time around.You can get a decently accurate sound sample of this cymbal on youtube. Look it up.

good Yoko jacket

This is a good jacket, the purple color is flattering on the skin tone. I love the Gurren Lagann symbol and fire on the sleeves. It looks just like the jacket worn in the series. The fabric has the feel of faux leather and makes a little noise (not enough to really notice though). The fit is nice and the length stops at the hips. The collar is high, so if the jacket is zipped up all the way the neck would be completely covered. That yellow thing on the front of the jacket is just for show, not an actual pocket; this jacket has no pockets.However, this is in Japanese size meaning if you normally wear a Medium in the USA you are a Large or even Extra-Large for this jacket depending on your body shape. Be sure to order a size up from what you normally wear. I would give this five stars if it was actually made out of leather however, it is a good deal and very cute to wear.

Excellent media player

I just purchased this media player and am very happy with it. This is my first media player so I'm far from being an expert on this type of products. What I can tell about this unit is the following:Good:- Handles media files flawlessly (avi, mov, jpg, etc)- Has a simple, effective user interface- Remote is good and with plenty of functions- Firmware updates are easy to perform- Available internet channels, web remote - don't use either of this but did test the internet channel functionality- 1080p outputThe negatives so far (these are minor in my point of view, but may be of consideration to others):- I haven't yet been able to set up the wireless functionality, works fine with a wired network connection, appears to be a common issue as per other users - I will contact the manufacturer for support.- Cover art for some media files is only usable on the last folder icon, not on "upper" levels of file folder structure when a tree structure is used for sorting out media content on the storage device (internal HDD [not included] or external HDD)- Have read comments on forums stating that eSATA connection is slow - haven't tested it yet...- Cannot use for Netflix (hence my disappointment with the wireless connection issue)I am planning to use this to take content with me when I travel plus obviously to store and play media at home. This unit has so many other features that I have yet to explore and try but it is serving its main purpose excellently (media player), while working ok for other uses as advertised (wireless access)

They dont make um better then this!!

I have tried a few different media players, and this is the best, and easiest one I have had. very simple set up, basicly plug and play. I preloaded my hard drive with my media, plugged it into the player and bingo, there everythiing was. nothing else needed. I LOVE this, going to be getting a second one for my livingroom, this one is in my bedroom.

great portable massage chair

This portable massage chair is very comfortable. Also it is adjustable in the head, chest, arms, and seat area. Meaning the chair will adjust to comfortably fit a 6 foot tall man and adjust to comfortable fit 5 foot 4 inch tall woman. It is easy to adjust, only need to untighten a knob (by hand) and then adjust the padded area to the desired fit and then re-tighten a knob. The head, arm and chest padded area each has their own separate knob for adjustment. In the middle of the seat post there is a metal push button feature that allows for the seat height to be adjusted.It came out of the box already assembled. Only had to unfold the chair and make adjustments. Would recommend to anyone considering this portable massage chair.

100" of pure movie enjoyment!

Having researched projectors almost to death, I finally decided on a Panasonic PT-AX200U but had done very little research on screens. Well I found a great site for information projectorcentral.com, which had very good information, but was looking at spending $1k for a screen, but since I live in an apartment I was hesitant on it. Also, you must really do your homework with the screen size and throw distance, as my projector is 20 feet away from the screen.So, searching around I stumbled into this screen, absolutely perfect for my needs, it is very portable and easy to set up. It was very well packaged when it arrived. There is a bit of "cupping" on both edges of the screen, with the room lights on and from the side you can see it, but I have not been able to notice any distortion with pictures projected to the screen. Also, the screen is a bit fussy rolling back into the carry case, the spring just does not have enough pull. Both of these are the only faults I can find so far, and even at that they are minor. As for brightness, which I was very concerned about with, the screen is bright white, and probably throws back ~1.0 of the light, so during the mid afternoon glare is a problem. I suppose I need curtains...All in all, for the price, and for the size, this was an awesome find! I could not be happier.

Super-easy to set up, with super "WOW" factor!

After battling with a 120-inch tripod screen, my family decided to give this EZ Cinema screen a try. Let's just say the tripod battles are over! We do plan to move things around our family room in the future, so we definitely wanted a portable-style screen in the first place.We simply can't say enough about this item - the screen set-up time is right around 30 seconds flat. Seriously. The black "bottom" is made of very sturdy aluminum-type material, and we simply leave the "bar" sitting on the floor at all times. The two little "feet" swing out for more support, four suitcase-style snaps are opened, two support bars are easily inserted into the back base area, and you pull the screen up. That's all there is to it! Now we have awesome 150-inch images in our family room with ultimate ease.Though made by the same company, we think this 150-inch screen has a better image than the tripod one did. HD is amazing, but even SD images or DVDs from our projector are breathtaking. Couple that with the ultra-easy set-up (and take-down), and we're happy campers! Bravo, Elite Screens!P.S. Just keep in mind the measurements for this item - it's a LOOOOOOONG piece of equipment! We actually brought it in through a family room window, as it was far too long for swinging around doorways and such in our house.

Great Portable Screen

This screen is great. It's very lightweight and functional. When my office needs a screen at one of the off sites we just grab this one, throw it in the car, drive over, pop it up, and go. Our old screen never gets used anymore. It's so bulky and can't compare to just how easy this one is to use.

Purchased to work on small-scale, high-detail models. Movement of the arm and head is smooth and easy. Lighting is bright enough for small detail work. Optics work well, but I do have some concern over long term use do to it's composite construction. I would highly recommend this product.

WOW, what a light!

This thing is absolutely spectacular. Beautiful, well made, strong, bright, and really big. Did I say big? I mean it's big and strong and it's not something you will fold away and hide in the far corner of your desk. The image is truly wonderful. The viewing window is as large as your face and crystal clear and bright from edge to edge. Big nice view. Very nice view. I just love it. Only one problem for me. I need the 5-doplar and this one is 3-doplar. I don't know how the mistake was made but with my eyes I just need more magnification. I really hate to send it back but I have to for the very small soldering work I do. I can't imagine getting another magnifying lamp that is a nice and as well made as this one. I highly recommend this light. It is really a spectacular peace of equipment. Nothing cheap or flimsy about it. It should last a life time of use. Don't worry about the lens, it is as clear and as sharp as you can imagine. Well made in every way. Great desk clamp also.

Decent screen - doesn't hold up well to travel

The screen is a quality screen and holds up to local office use. I would not recommend transporting this as it's not as sturdy as the smaller models. The plastic piece is susceptible to breakage over time/transport...Thanks,LTLight Application Team Consulting<...>

Extremely Ergonomic...Reputable, Comfortable, Affrodable Chair!

There were no previous reviews for this particular chair at the time of my purchase; however, there were numerous reviews for the company from which the chair was shipped (Cavalier Wholesale). The rave reviews concerning the timeliness (especially the prompt deliveries), customer service and condition of their products gave me piece of mind and I ordered the chair on a late Friday evening and received it on the following Wednesday afternoon. To my surprise, the shipping information was being processed over the weekend! The chair is sturdy/ergonomic; there was no need for installation, just unfold and get started! In addition, the many adjustable parts/sections of this chair can be easily adjusted to many degrees (heights, angles, and lengths)! With the price, functionality and numerous color choices of this chair in mind, I'm definitely ordering a second one in a different color before they're all gone!

The item was delivered on time. easy tracking was provided. There was a slight tear at the bottom of the bag where the wheel was, but all and all the product and bag were clean. For the money, it's a good chair. Maybe a little stiff at first. Perhaps a different seat instead of the bicycle like seat. It's a good starter chair.

Poor quality adjustable latches

The second time I used this chair, the arm rest broke on it. I do not know how to fix it. I think they put faulty parts on the chair. It was inexpensive so next one will have to be of better quality. The adjustable latches strip easily.

Great value pen. It may not be as soft as the waterman hemisphere, but feels just like it on the nib (a few points down, maybe). A little heavier and thick, but fashionable.
