While some ski helmet manufacturers are content to copy the designs created by their competition, POC takes technology and safety innovations in a new direction with their proven and successfully Skull X Ski Helmet. This ski helmet features POC's Bone Shell, a tough and selectively rigid combination of ABS/PC that deconstructs during heavy impacts, absorbing more of the energy than many conventional ski helmet designs. Inside the POC Skull X Ski Helmet is an Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) liner that doesn't permanently deform on impact, so it's better at absorbing the repetitive shocks that sometimes occur during high-speed, multi-impact ski falls in steep mountain terrain. EPP liners are more effective at absorbing energy from multiple impacts than the traditional EPS foam liners found in traditional helmets. Other refinements include aluminum grid penetration guards on the front vent openings and an LD Foam padded inner lining that can be removed and changed or cleaned after repeated use.

Nice Lid!

Not that i was being cheap with my sons head, but i always found it hard to spend twice as much for a helmet that didnt have any higher ratings than other brand name lids. But after a pretty scary incident with an out of control snowboarder at Bear Creek resort I decided to spend the money. The sizing chart was spot on to start with. The fit was excellent and according to my boy, the feel is way better than anything hes ever had. It was yet to be rated for cold weather performance but if his little buddies are any indication, they never complained.

Super comfy

It has taken me a lot to get junto a helmet for skiing. After years of racing back in the olden days with our motor cross helmets, I was skeptical as I had been more injured by heavy helmets than helped. I bought a RED helmet a few years back that never really fit right. I caved and bought a POC helmet before giving up completely. After having my son, want t be a good roll model and I want him in a helmet.These are great helmets. It fits my head really well, is super comfortable, the ear cutouts keep my ears from hurting (another issue with my last helmet), and the ventilation is great to keep my head from getting to hot. It is also really lightweight.The only downside? The white helmet makes me feel a bit like a Spaceball!

Almost Perfect

I collect anime figures, mostly because they are the best looking figures compared to most However, with this Broly, i enjoy having it, however there is one tiny detail that is ridiculous to me...Why Oh why god did they have to give him blue pupils??? His eyes are supposed to be blank, white, and blind with anger. These eyes look waaaay to bog, and too bright for my taste. Other than that, and maybe the fast that he isnt that large, he is pretty good.It would make a good gift for your child to play with, its durable and he can move pretty good. BUt if you aren't akid, be prepared to buy white paint and fix the problem :3

Highly Recommended!!!

These are by far the best skiing goggle's i have ever had. They are really comfortable and fit nice and tight against your face during a windy or stormy session of skiing. Although these goggle's are not for everyone because they are considered oversize on the face, but if you are a really young and active skiier/snowboarder..you will find these goggle's to your liking. I have never even heard of this brand before untill 2 of my friends got them, and recommended the goggle's for me, my other pair i used before were oakley wisdoms, which are currently out dated and can not by lens replacements. CAUTION: i have been told these goggle's are prone to sracthes if you drop them,or what not..so the quality is well worth the price range just be extra careful with them like i am.

Totally Sweet, but watch the scratches...

I bought these for my wife and she is very happy with how they look, feel, and function. The mirrored lens is really sweet looking but because the it wraps around like it does, it is prone to scratches. I will buy a pair for myself even though this is the case! POC products seem to be at the top.

Cute but...

This pig is really cute and my 3 year old daughter loves it. I just wish it was a little more innocent. Less "valley girl" as another reviewer said. Especially for the recommended age (3+). She says things like "LOL!", "I wanna go for a ride in my limo", "That tickles! My nose is sensitive!"... In a very obnoxious voice.The batteries are coming out as soon as my daughter sounds anything like this ;)

Excellent Value

These are extremely well made. Rugged thick sisal, and appears to have a sturdy cloth border. Great, safe traction, and bonus of removing residual sand and grit from shoes here in coastal Florida. Perfect for our painted wood stairs. Saved us from getting carpet we did not want or expensive replacement wood we did not want to pay for. Guests inevitable comment both on how great they look and how safe it makes the stairway. We installed whole set in under half hour, very easy with just a ruler and the recommended adhesive tape.

Great treads

These look great. I ordered these from the company and they came with velcro backing on the tread and a velcro adhesive to stick to the steps. They lay flat on the steps. They have great traction and are not too rough on bare feet. They clean up easily with a vacuum. I've had them for 6 months or so and they aren't showing any pulls or any wear, even with 2 bigger dogs walking over them. My only issue is that one of them was 1" narrower than the others. I didn't try to exchange it because I had a landing and didn't need the last tread.

Great treads!

I really am pleased with these treads, after looking at a lot on line.They are thick, the widest and longest we found, and go with anything...our place is a cabin, and these are on the half log stairs, and they accent it nicely...they are rugged, but also trimmed so nicely in the black, that they accent the lacey curtains, and pretty things, while making the wood really stand out, too.We used the super sticky carpet tape (2 sided) and they are really on there.Great value, great product.

Nice AMD Chip

Bought this CPU at another store then Amazon but I'd review it anyways. Fast CPU. Good price. If you don't plan on using a 6-cores (most games and simple software uses 2-4) then just get the cheaper AMD X4 3.5Ghz. That one is cheaper and has a higher CPU speed. Games like World of Warcraft only use 2 cores I believe. Regardless, nice CPU.

Great processor at a good price

I upgraded from an AMD Athlon 64 X2. I have been very pleased with the speed increase. The processor popped in to the AM3 slot without any problems. The included heat sink and fan appeared well constructed and of good design. They easily slipped in to position on my motherboard. I have been pleased with the speed increase in most applications and have really appreciated the improved multi-tasking when I am working and playing. I would recommend this processor to anyone looking for a good balance between performance and price.

Powerful CPU

very powerful cpu. enough for HD video editing. I just installed this CPU and has been working great for the past 2 days. I also have an old 3ghz AMD dual core x2 6000+ which is still working fine after 3 years so i know AMD will last. I got this upgrade because i love HD editing.Although i cannot preview my video in real time with all the effects but that's becuase the software doesn't utilize the full potential of a 64 bit even with 8g ram and nvidia gtx420. But i see a very big difference in background rendering, it can generate/render my 2 minute HD 1080p 12,000 kbits video in 5 minutes.I would highly recommend this product.

Bought this for my 9 year old daughterExchanged 2x and ended up with a LARGE size for her.POC helmets seem to run really small.Daughter loves the helmet colors. Sharp styling. POC just needs to fix the sizing thing.

Terrific helmet

I really like this helmet, it's well-built and really stylish. The loud colors are fun for an accessory like this. The only drawback on mine is one of the head vents is obstructed by some of the helmet's padding. POC is super though and the quality of the materials, construction, and fit is exceptional.

This can be a wise investment depending on your situation.

I run the sound equipment for my church, including four handheld wireless mics, one lapel mic, and an ear set mic. And we are growing. Right now all of this equipment uses the 9 V batteries.I originally invested in a pack of Non-rechargeable 9 V batteries through Amazon and got them for a good price. The problem that I encountered is that when a battery gets low whoever is using the mic starts to drop in and out and I am faced with a situation whether to swap in a new battery? It usually happens in the middle of a song or halfway through the pastor's sermon.Because the non-rechargeable batteries last a long time it is not efficient to get rid of them before they are drained and it can get very costly to do so. It's a guessing game of how much charge is left in them and trying to keep track of how long they have been used.With these Tenergy batteries and the charger I can swap fully charged batteries into all the mics for each service or whenever. I don't know how long the batteries would last, but they have still been going strong in our practices after three hours. And because the charger maintains the batteries without hurting them I can just leave the batteries all in the charger until I need some.Works great for me in my situation.

Church Microphones

We use rechargeable batteries in the wireless mics in our church A/V system. They get used heavily for about 2 hours a week, then sit on the charger the rest of the week. I know this is hard on them, and I am never surprised when they don't last more than 18 months or so. My hope was that by buying a charger and the corresponding batteries as a kit, instead of using one brand of charger and another brand of batteries we would be better off.These had better ratings, but a lover (200mah) rating than the others I looked at, so I was nervous about buying them. While we only use them for 2 hours a week, they HAVE to work during those 2 hours. With out much of a budget (NONE) this was coming ount of my pocket and I did not want to drop $60+ bucks and find out they did not sufficiently power our mics.As it turns out - they work perfectly. We are 3 months in, and have been really impressed. We have also been impressed with the fact that the few devices we use in which the batteries sit unused for the rest of the week (off charger), the remaining charge after a week off charger is really high still. I know this is because they are LSD (low self discharge) but it is still a leap forward in battery technology, and appreciated.I'll go with 4 stars instead of 5 because we are only 3 months into use - if they make it longer than 18 months I will return and give 5 stars!

Fantastic!

I received the helmet two days before it was expected to arrive which was fantastic. The helmet is great, the medium is a fraction too small for my head but is still comfortable enough to wear all day in the snow. The Skull Candy head phones are decent, not much different to the Apple ear phones except with more bass. If your not getting the right sound out of it straight away, make sure you double check the connection at both ends as I did find it quite hard to get the sound quality/connection right at the start. All the padding inside the helmet is removable and comes with replacements. Also comes with a cool visor and a cover (for storage and travel) which is a good addition to the awesome helmet. Highly recommend it, just make sure you get the right size!

Beautiful and Functional... But...

I wanted a convertible table that can comfortably fit up to six people. This table fits the bill. It easily extends from a nice sized square table to a very nice rectangular table. It is very solid and heavy. The glass sections are tempered and fairly thick. Assembly was quick and easy. The look is very clean and modern. I would have given this five stars but even though it was very well packed I noticed that there was a very slight dent and some minor scratches near the corner of the frame. It is hardly noticeable unless you look closely. The silver matte finish is very nice and elegant but it scratches very easily. The first time I ate on it I moved my plate around. After dinner I noticed there were new scratches on the finish where my plate was sitting. It is really disappointing to have a beautiful design and great functionality, but the manufacturer could not provide a more durable finish.

Great table for Small apartment!!

I ordered this table for my 1 br apt in NYC and it is perfect! It was easy to put together and slides perfectly into a corner when we arent using it and extends into the perfect size when we have guests. I was nervous to order a table online at first but im glad I did.

Beautiful, modern, stable and functional

I wasn't sure whether I should order a table via Amazon, especially since I didn't really trust the pictures. I am so glad I did and I love my new table. It came safely wrapped and delivered to my door, was super easy to assemble and looks absolutely beautiful. It is a space saver and big enough for 2-4 people and expands with a clever mechanism to up to 8 people. It looks super nice and modern, simple and very stable.
