Got this for my GF's Birthday

Pictures don't do this bracelet justice. It is way better looking in person. It shines very nice and doesn't look cheap. My GF loves it. Its really well made too. The only thing I didnt like about it was the bag it came in. The fabric was cheap, but hey your buying the bracelet not the bag. Basically your not getting a Jewelry Bag like you would get from Tiffany's & Co. I'd buy it again if I had to.

Although the bracelet is very elegant and well made, the toggle hole is almost too wide, and it occasionally came undone during the first day it was received. The metal is not quite as polished and clean as I would expect, and if I didn't know it was sterling silver, I would have thought it was well-crafted stainless steel.Compare this to price, now. The craftsmanship is excellent, yes, however the price is a little steep for what you get. I would expect to pay around $125, not $185 all considering.Overall, did the gift's recipient like the bracelet? Yes.Would I recommend the product itself? Yes.Would I recommend the product for the price? No.

REAL Workboots!

I cant remember the last time I had to REALLY break in a pair of work boots because of the thickness of the leather, but that is me this year! I am a utility worker that is on my feet all day working with chemicals and water mains, services and treatment plants and have been for over 15 years. My aim this year was to get a great pair of American Made boots that just might last me all year. I'm off to a great start! When my boots arrived they were packaged with class and attention to detail. I unwrapped them and found them beautifully made. The leather was thick yet my feet rested so well in the soft comfortable soles. It took a few days to break them in, but now they take a beating and hold up strong for me! First pair of chippiwas never going back to anything else

After wearing china boots for years I finally decided to make the swith to resoleable made in the US boots.These boots are great so far. They are very stiff for the first couple of days. That being said I did not have any hot spots or any discomfort on my feet. I would say you need five days to initally break in the boots.The leather is very heavy and the boot overall is great quality. I aidded the break in by applying a high quality mink oil to the boots for the first few days of wear.The inside of the boot is just smoth leather. The area around the steel toe has addition padding in the inside that is very well made. The stockbridge Viabrim sole is perfect for my line of work which is an elevator mech. The sole will not hold grease and does not trip me up when walking on steel.

Mediums are smaller than they used to be

I got this jacket recently from Campmor because it was on sale for $89. It's a very nice jacket, but feels a little cheaper than my old Columbia jacket. The styling is much improved and I really like the colors. My old jacket was a medium so I got a medium again but this jacket is much smaller. I have trouble wearing bulky sweaters or sweatshirts underneath it. The zipper also sometimes doesn't engage all the way and then will split open at the bottom. Not sure why this happens but I just have to be careful to fully engage before zipping up. I'm keeping the jacket despite these minor issues because i really like it.

Love this pin!

I was looking for a pretty pin to use with my buttonless cardigans when I came across this Zina pin.It turned out to be big, bold and beautiful. I'd say it's also very artsy looking. I get compliments on it every time I wear it. Oxidized silver is great, no need to worry about tarnishing. I paid $150 for it when amazon had it on sale. I think it's worth $150, but $220 seems a bit much. One possible drawback is that it can be a little heavy for thinner fabric, so that's something to keep in mind.Overall, great purchase!

Awesome boots.

I've only had these boots a couple of days now but right out of the box they are very comfy with a soft insole already built into the boot. Although, I have gotten one blister but that is almost to be expected with any pair of real leather boots (even my redwings I got blisters). The boot looks very well made and I'm very happy with my purchase. The boots are actually lighter then I originally anticipated and that appears to be because they have "Gumlight Vibram" bottoms which by reading Vibrams website they are drastically lighter but have all the great wear characteristics of real rubber. I would also like to mention the picture above the boots look alot darker in color then what is actually delivered. End the end I'm quite happy with the boots.

Chippewa 6" Boots

I watched the price drop on these boots for a month or so and when they were $92 bucks, I bought them. I was so pleased about getting a deal on American handmade boots that I didn't care if they were steel toe or not. They are a little stiff, but feel good on my feet. I liked these so much that I saw the 8", non-steel toe style on sale for $84 bucks and bought them too. Both are seconds, but I can't find the flaws. They take some break in but once they are loosened up, there sweet. Now that you know, I probably won't be able to get another pair at these prices, when I need them...in 5 years. I plan on wearing them to death, then getting them resoled and wearing them to death again. Thanks Amazon.

I've had these shoes for over a year now, and still wear them daily. They are super comfortable for walking around in, or chasing my 3 and 6 year olds around the park. The black suede (?) we has faded a bit, but that's to be expected.

Nice on the feet

I've owned my share of DC shoes. Mainly skater shoes. These are my first pair of casual shoes in a while. And I'll admit, they are probably the most comfortable shoes I've owned in years. Normally shoes hurt my feet until they are broke in. These feel great from the get go. I suggest to anyone who's looking at these to get a pair.Mine are black and blue, and they look very nice.

Requires break-in time....

Over all, not a bad boot. Made in America (rare these days). Well-made, but took about 7-10 working days to break in, and I got a blister on the back of my foot. After that, they have been quite comfortable. I would buy again.

Chippewa boots - an cheaper and better alternative to Red Wing

After searching for Red Wing boots, I came across Chippewa's. I wasn't sure what kind of quality they would be, but they were $100 compared to the $300 Red Wings, so I decided to give them a shot.Instant impressions: These are really well made. This color combo is the best Chippewa offers and they look incredible with denim or other casual pants. What surprised me the most though, was how comfortable they were. I read other reviews that said they needed to be broke in, which would take about 2 weeks and then they were comfortable. Not true. After having them on for about 10 hours, they broke in pretty well. After a few days, they were super comfortable. I'm talking like, they are the most comfortable shoe I own, comfortable! I'm also not a super tall guy, so I enjoyed getting the extra 3in lift from them. To top things off, my wife says I look tall and skinny in them, which I am perfectly fine with!Overall: I gave these a 5 because they are perfect for what I was wanting. They look good when I wear them to the office, the color goes with jeans and other pants well and the price was right. My buddy who has the $320.00 Jcrew Red Wings won't stop looking that them. Enough said.

Looks good, fits amazing

I was looking around for a new pair of boots for a while. I needed something that could handle the winter but still look slick. The $2-300 price tag of Wolverines and RWs put me off, but I found a great brand in Chippewa. They fit great right out of the box and the tan color is surprisingly good looking. I look forward to breaking these bad boys in the next few weeks.Remember to order a half size smaller than you usually get. I wear an 11 in my Clark DBs so I ordered a 10.5 for these.

Finally found the right watch!

I don't ask for much, but from my standpoint most watches out there, regardless of the manufacturer, are either garrish and overpriced, or too simple and cheaply made. My preference has to be balanced: a simple, minimalist design, but built to last and reasonably priced. I hadn't heard of Hamlin before, so I did a little research. They are a reputable company, been around for awhile producing quality timepieces with real class and understated elegance. This Ultra-Thin model epitomizes these features. Get it and love it!
