Made by a Japanese Lens Manufacture who added a synthetic light filtering technology, by inserting Melanin into the lenses. Hard plastic frame with 1.5 Polycarbonate Lenses, includes case plus more.
The Frame color is Smoke with Lattice work and the Lens is colored Grey. Fits over most glasses and can be worn with or without.
This is not intended for a small face structured individuals.

One of the very few Melanin sunglasses out there!

I purchased this for my mom who was recently diagnosed with having the start of Cataracts. I love my mom so much and was so sad about this diagnosis and wanted to help my mom at least stop the cataracts from progressing further. I wanted my mom to start wearing eye protection over her prescription glasses.I got these as a surprise for her after researching about it having Melanin, which not only protects from harmful UV rays but also other lights that may contribute to eye degradation.She loved it! I was surprised because I was not expecting her to be so excited! She now wears it every day :)Melanin sunglasses are very tough to find. I was glad this company created this Melanin version of Fit-overs sunglasses that could be used by people like my mom.I hope that someday this company will consider making a non-fit-over version of this Melanin 100% UV 400 glasses for those of us that don't wear prescription glasses as well :) That would be wonderful.
