I bought this necklace for my mother who loves butterflies, and she was delighted by it. The butterfly pendant itself is small, about the size of a thumbnail, but very beautiful. The opal itself is striking, and looks even nicer in person than in the picture. I really liked the packaging the necklace came in, especially the little blue velvet bag. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a pretty piece of jewelery to add to their collection. I give it five stars.

I ordered this for my little girls 7th birthday - opal is her birthstone and butterflies are her favorite. It arrived quickly and packaged beautifully - a jewelry box in a white box with a bow in a velvet bag. She loved the package as much as the necklace! Chain is good quality also, not too fragile for a kid.

I recently purchased this necklace for my girlfriend for our anniversary and she loved it. Her birthstone is opal and she loves butterflies so it was perfect. The stones themselves do look even better in person and she's had no problems with it at all. Only remark is that she wishes the chain that came with it was a little bit longer, other than that, no complaints.
