Definitely worth it

UPDATE: OK I've had this product for over a year now and does the job right. I've abused it whenever I take it camping and still looks like I bought it yesterday. Definitely worth the $70 I paid for it.Cleaning tips: Use vinegar! Vinegar works great when cleaning this, I bought a 1 gallon of vinegar at my B&M store and I use it to clean the bladder. THe only part that sucks is that you will have to 'suck out' the vinegar from the bladder to clean the tube so you will get some vinegar in your mouth, but it's better than using soap (I don't recommend using soap to clean the inner parts of the bladder) or that expensive cleaning kit they sell. Also when you're done cleaning it and are not going to use it for a long time follow the instructions and put it in the freezer; this will avoid bacteria to grow inside the bladder.[END UPDATE]Haven't got a chance to take it camping/hiking so I can't really comment on that but once I do take it I'll update my review.This thing holds a lot of water, just about 6 regular sized watter bottles(16.9 FL OZ bottles) which is more water than I drink in an entire day.I bought the digital woodland camo version and it looks like the authentic MARPAT pattern (save for the EGA emblem), none of those off-match colors like most 'digital woodland' products I've bought in the past.I had previously stated that the bladder is non-removable and at least two websites said that that the bladder in the Omega is non-removable. This is is false. It is possible to remove the bladder from the actual pack without having to break anything. Here are some steps:1.Open the zipper on the right side of the pack that leads inside the bladder compartment.2. Grab the bladder and the opening and turn it about 45 degrees counter clockwise.3. Now the little hook on the top of the bladder opening should be on the left sideand the bottom of the bladder should be popping out from the zipper.4. Now insert your hand inside the right zipper and try to pull the backpack opening and with your other hand push the bladder hook into the backpack.5. Half the opening should be inside the backpack and now it's just a matter of pushing the rest of the opening inside of it including that big plastic tag that says Camelbak on it.6. Once the whole opening is inside the backpack, it's just a matter of pulling the bladder out of the backpack and TAH DAH! You can now clean the bladder by itself and put it in the freezer.7. To put it back, just do all of the steps but backwards. Trust me, I've done it without causing any damage to either the backpack or the bladder.Pros:-Easy to use-Holds a lot of waterCons:-Not a single pocket on the backpack

This is the best Camelbak I've ever used! Its very durable, well constructed, and very handy. I'm in CAP (Civil Air Patrol) and needed this for ES (Emergency Services) and NESA (National Emergency Services Academy) and it has stood up to the roughest handling. It was thrown, tossed and rubbed against all that mother nature could through at it (and then some) in the wilderness of Camp Atterbury. And guess what, it passed the test with flying colors! I love it, and so will you.

Awesome product! I use this CamelBak when I go on motorcycle rides, and I also use it when I play soldier out in the fields and woods. It holds plenty of water, it's comfortable to wear, looks good, and the fit and finish are superb. A great buy!
