Beautifully made boots, comfort features, good price - mens' boots but a woman can wear also

I am a a woman and purchased these boots. I paid the lower price. They are extremely beautifully made and ought to last for many years. The lighter part is tan canvas, not yellow as the photo, and the leather is a fine quality dark brown. For me, where comfort and health are premium, ACORN is probably the best brand that I have ever purchased. The sole is very well made - unique design - good traction but without lugs (thank you!). The inner footbed liner is superb and also removable. The tongue is well padded, the hardware is excellent quality - as are the laces. These are cool weather boots. I really could not tell from the photo if I might be able to wear them in the summer, but that's a "no". I am a woman who wears 9.5 A or B. I usually buy boots in 10 M so that I can wear heavy socks and put in liners. The ones that I purchased are 8.5 D in Mens and they are fine. These are really men's boots, however. Nothing dainty about them. They have a nice loop in the back of the heel to pull them on, They are very sturdy. The leather is not hard but it is thick. I think that these really are outdoors boots. To get boots of this quality for under $100 was quite a shopper's find. Being sure-footed is more important to me now than glamour. I have many classic high heeled boots that are very beautiful and sexy - but having faller down is such a negative experience - as is foot pain, that my preferences and values have changed. These seem to be sized correctly. I think that most men would be extremely pleased with these boots.
