Good value

I purchased these for the occasional road trip, short trips to the store, and not for every day use. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on OEM bags, so I went for these. Also, they included the sissy/luggage bags, which I really like.I want to be clear that these are value bags. Although they are value, I'm happy with the quality. They mounted up on my '07 vStar 650 Classic easily, and they look nice (real similar to the picture).I can't tell real leather, but they do smell and scratch like real leather (I scratched an inconspicuous area just to test the quality).I gave only 4 stars because I think the buckles and straps are a little thin and cheap. What would make this 5 stars is if the straps were solid soft pieces of leather (they are 2 think pieces sewed together), and some higher quality buckles. Again, it works for my needs, and is on par with what I expected.

I am very happy with these bags. They are fully adjustable and look very nice. We have only had them for a day but plan to use them often.

These bags are a good deal for the price. I havent put them on the bike yet due to the weather but i'm lookinjg forward to it and being able to zip the bags off is a plus. I have been using the backpack as a day to day bag and it is nice. Looking forward to warmer weather so I can use the bags!!!
