Tips to secure it in place

My 3 Shih Tzu & 1 Pekinese can now roam the backseat in comfort. I only wish the bottom part was wider so that I could push the front passenger seat far enough back to secure it into place and eliminate the gap. Otherwise, you'll need to think of a creative way to prevent it from sliding forward and off the seat.I used the box it came in and put it in between the gap. The box was flimsy so I shoved an old comforter in it. The box also looked ugly so I just turned the bench the other way and used the nylon quilted part to draped over the box. I then pushed my front passenger seat all the way back to firmly secure everything in place.The length of the seat was also about 6" shorter than the length of my back seat (Saturn Vue). I just put a tightly rolled towel inside the washable case/cover.Here's some additional info:Its made out of firm yet comfortable foam.It has slits for your seatbelts.It comes with 2 built in harnesses and 2 removable collars.

I purchased this "lookout perch" for my french bulldog puppy, opting for the full seat perch because we will be adding another dog to the family in a month or two. Frenchies are very sensitive to heat and I don't like putting her in the travel crate during the summer for fear she will become overheated. And she is not a fan of car rides. The day I received the perch, I loaded her up and went for a short ride. No moaning, no crying, no objections whatsoever. And I felt confident she was not getting too warm.The one objection I have to the product thus far is the confusing instructions for installation. I am good at following directions (my friends always call me when they have furniture that needs assembled). I am not convinced I have this seat installed properly. The directions lead to a result that does not match the photo. However, the means I used to install the seat have left it stable, and the dog restrained, so I am not terribly concerned. Better instructions would probably have led to five stars.

GREAT FOR SMALL DOGS!

I have 2 bichon frise and this bench has made my life a lot easier. They sit high and like looking out the windows. It was difficult to put them in the car because I have a 2dr sport car and the back seat was so deep, now I just place them on the bench. This is great for small dogs that like to be close to each other all the time.
