Beware the Raider with this Computer!

I was already running Cobra's closed-loop RI 2000 computer on my Yamaha Raider, but I decided to upgrade to this computer so I would never have to wonder if my settings were right. After fifty miles of easy riding to let the computer discover my K&N air filter and modified air box, not to mention my Cobra 2-into-1 pipe, my mighty 1900cc engine was ready for performance testing. Did it make a difference? YES!!!I putted off the starting line and then gave it a moderate turn of the throttle. It responded smoothly and firmly, and being the conservative person I am, I floored it. The Raider responded with jaw-dropping acceleration that forced me to issue maniacal laughter as I rapidly entered hyper-space passing every vehicle in sight having inadvertently issued a trans-warp injection burn. I looked at the speedo and I was doing over 120mph in 4th gear after only a few seconds, and so I decided that I might want to back her down some. Subsequent testing proved that even compared to the older Cobra computer, she was much more docile at low speeds and could make hyperspace in less than five seconds from a dead stop. This computer really does live up to what it says it is. And the Raider.....well....that's a matter of personal preference. But none of my Harley's could even touch the kind of performance I'm getting with this bike. I still love my Harley's though, but not because they can catch me on my Raider. Bwaaaaaaa.
