Harrison's Bird Foods are premium, certified organic diets made up of the best ingredients available. To assure freshness be sure to keep the food tightly sealed in it's original packaging. Refrigeration after opening may bag help maintain freshness. Use food up in 4 - 6 weeks after opening bag. Note: Under new USDA National Organic Program guidelines, pet food labels are required to specify exactly which ingredients are certified organic. To be able to claim a "CERTIFIED ORGANIC" status of a specific product, each product must be made up of no less than 95% certified organic ingredients by weight. All foods listed below meet these criteria and are considered "CERTIFIED ORGANIC". Harrison's Bird Foods goes to great measures to make sure these requirements are met. Companies that claim to be either 100% organic or Certified Organic and do not provide the consumer with the required organic specifics are in violation of the NOP rules and might not even be certified organic at all. "Iron Sulphate" is not an ingredient currently used in any Harrison's Bird Food product.

Great quality and our bird loves it.

My bird has been eating Harrison's feed for about 10 years. It's organic and complete - far superior to a seed diet. And the added bonus is there aren't rejected seeds decorating the floor anymore. She loves the adult course. There is waste, but parrots are parrots. They drop their food when they get distracted. She also likes to drop it in her water cup and make soup, so I keep an extra water cup with just a small amount of water so she can make her mush. I would encourage any parrot owner to try this product. I noticed a big difference in my bird's feathers and overall health.
