Perfect first marble run

Our two year old son adored this toy while we had it. He played with it every single day, sometimes for over an hour. That's a long time for a toddler! The balls are about the size of a golf ball, so they can't be put in the mouth. They are also weighted differently, so you can make one of the balls "chase" the others. The tracks are also easily rearranged to create different (though not very complex) runs. This really was a great way to introduce marble runs to our son--this toy is a winner!

My 19 month granddaughter squealed when she first saw this and plays with it every time I pull it out. The balls are weighted and jingle, so she plays with them alone at times. Great colorful toy and you can get replacement balls.

This was purchased for my nephew's 2nd birthday and given to him about a month in advance. It fascinated him enough that he held fairly still for his sunscreen application. I think it is a great gift especially for children that are fascinated by mechanical items. The "marbles" do make different noises, and it is not a quiet toy, but at least if you can hear them going you know the child is not getting into trouble. Be prepared for a young child to have a favorite "marble". Also, in case you are wondering the four runs can be changed to go in different orders as long as you remember to connect the low side of the one on top to the top side of the one below.
