Not made in USA

I was looking for Thorogood boots because they are union made in the USA. My Chinese made Bates similar to these just didn't last. When these Thorogoods came in they were marked made in China. They had a tag with 1-800-826-0002 on it. I called and they are a US company that makes boots in America. They also import some models such as these. To see which are US made and which aren't you have to go to their website at weinbrennerusa.com and check each model. I returned these (they look just like the Bates that wore out quick) and ordered 834-6874s. This wasn't Amazon's fault but they took them back no problem.

Good boot.

I have had 2 pair of this and about to get my 3rd pair. I have had magnums, bates, and a few others. These feel great to wear all day long. The shoe is narrow so if you have a wider foot make sure to get the right size. I found that the shoe size length was off. I wear a 12- 12 1/2 but in these I wear and 11 1/2. The stores I have worked with have taken back the boot and given me the correct size. I get about 2yr to 2 1/2yrs out of them before I have to replace them. My first pair I walked to sole out of them and the 2nd I blew out the side. Im a firefighter at a very busy station so I put a lot of wear and tear on these boots. I like the 6" cut also. Great support for the ankle and easier to take off and on then the 8".

Much better quality than I expected. Heavy Duty, warm, with plenty room for thick socks. The side zipper makes it easy to get them on and off. Great grip in the snow too.
