The built in circular lense of the 50watt LED Cannon creates a narrow beam of light, that rivals the output of a 250watt metal halide light, without the heat production, power consumption, or need for frequent bulb replacement. Lack of heat production means that in most cases you won't need to spend money on expensive cooling equipment like with metal halides. The 453nm Actinic blue spectrum will enhance the growth, color, and fluorescence in corals, fish and invertibrates in deep aquariums. 50watt LED cannons have built in drivers, so they are ready for installation out of the box. Dust and water resistant housings ensure your corals will have light for years to come. Includes hanging hardware. Ecoxotic LED Cannons produce extreme amounts of light and are not recommended for nano tanks and tanks less than 24" deep. Expensive, but great!

Great Sps growth with 2 white, 2 blue over 100g tank about 2.5 feet above water surface (leaves lots of room over the tank). Because the white and blue light comes from different units, the light is not blended together- you can see blue or white only in areas of the tank. Very exciting neat look to me, but others think its unnatural looking. You can manipulate this by placement. 4 stars because price is too high IMO.
