The Vilac multi activity cart is a push toy, ride on, and activity cart all in one. Your toddler will love pushing it around with teddy on top. There's a delightful horn to press as your child pedals using his or her feet. There are several colorful wooden blocks to sort over and over again. The handle area and the sides have brightly colored blocks to turn and move from side to side. Your toddler will also love to put things in the storage area below. Some assembly required. Vilac has produced high quality wooden toys for one hundred years, opening the doors of their first factory in the Jura mountains in 1911. They continue to devote the passion, pride and time to toy production that has been lost to many manufacturers. Today the toys are still partly made by hand to reach the highest quality finish, with rich, bright, hardwearing colors, resisting wear from the special processes.

Sturdy and fun!

Our 11 month-old LOVES this toy! I liked that it is wood and very solid construction. Baby loves to push it (watch out on laminate or hardwood floors, it goes fast)! He also loves the spinners and is starting to get into the block sorting feature. One small complaint is that the cube block didn't fit through the square hole in every orientation. We had to shave a little bit off of the blue board with a knife to make the cube fit through. This was a very minor complaint. We've had this toy for a couple of months now, and our baby keeps returning to it and finding new things to enjoy about it.

Some serious failings for the price

This looks like it has the right combo of features: it's a push toy, a ride on toy, plus a bonus shape sorter. And hey, it's not plastic.However:1) the cart is pretty small; the handle is only about 16" tall and as a whole it's roughly 7" wide.2) no brakes on the wheels, so not good for new walkers.3) the horn doesn't beep. On a toy that costs almost $100, the horn of all things should work!4) the wooden dowel that is the push handle DOESN'T FIT in the recesses drilled for it. It's too big or the holes were drilled too small. If it costs this much, the pieces should actually fit together. This is not user error. I understand this piece should be a snug fit, but it doesn't fit at all.Fail. I'm going to disassemble its many pieces and back it goes.
