wonderful bat wings

I want to my local convention as a black bat. with these wings I got a lot of complements and had a lot of fun! I could even eat with them on, because of the openings at the wrists to sick your hands out.there were only a few problems (thus the 4 not 5 star rating), the plastic horn-like things that originally came on top were awful. I tore them out then had a nice place to stick my thumbs through (I wore black gloves). also, the ends ripped out and the plastic tubing that created the "bones" fell out. this was easily solvable. for a quick fix I tied string around the end, and that got me through the day. it was a simple task wen I got home to use hot-glue to re-do the ends.another note, these are hard to walk in, especially if your short like I am, because you have to carry your hands up at your chest, and higher when going up stairs, to keep the tips from dragging. If your going to be sitting you have to stick them out before you, and If you want to spread your arms its a good idea to be outside or standing with your back against a wall, as the wings spread well across most hallways and then some.All that said, I LOVE THEM! they are one of the few treasures I have in my costuming collection and I wear them pretty-much whenever I get the chance. even at school for Halloween, though the backpack was a struggle.
