Great Saloon Girl Costume

This was a great Halloween costume. The material was very soft and comfortable and the color is beautiful. The black lace skirt underneath though was a little bit too big, and it was attached to the main dress. I detached it so that I could pin it tighter for a better fit. The lace was also rather stiff at first, but after I washing it gently and hanging it to dry the lace laid more naturally and it looked great. Probably because I am somewhat short, the purple dress part was too long in the front and covered up all the black lace. So I just pinned it up a bit like a window drape so it would lay where I wanted and it even looked more elegant. Also some of the buttons popped off, so I have a little bit of sewing to do. Once I made those slight modifications, I'd have to say this was one of the best Halloween costumes I've ever worn. I also loved that the costume came with lots of accessories: gloves, a fan, fishnets, a garter, and a miniature toy gun. You won't have to go out and buy extra pieces for this costume to look complete. And finally, the icing on the cake; when I wore this costume down-town, I did not see anybody else wearing the same thing. This costume is comfortable, unique, beautiful, and easy to customize. I highly recommend it.
