5CF camera memory card
By Ron B.
This card has a lot of memory for a good price. I've always used Lexar memory becuase it has never let me down. This UDMA enabled card works very well in my Canon 5D2. UDMA is a file transfer protocol that allows faster writes or reads on Cameras or Card Readers designed to make use of it. It's also backward compatible with older cameras. On longer trips I fill several 16GB cards and wanted more memory. I like to make a backup copy in the field (on a netbook w/external Hard disk), and keep originals on the CF cards until I return home. So, I want to have enough memory with me so I don't have to erase cards in the field. For multi-week trips, this can be 100GB or more. Lexar is my memory of choice becuse of good price and reliability. I'm sure others some others would work as well. Lexar had a rebate program going at the time of my purchase that helped as well.

232GB Lexar Professional 400x CF card
By N. Baerreis
The cost to capacity ratio on this card is hard to beat, and as a rule the Lexar Professional series is great. I bought mine here on Amazon in February 2011 and much to my dismay it started recording about 1 in 300 images as an unreadable file within a month. That wasn't so bad, but lately (as of the writing of this review it's late June 2011) the bad images have become more frequent- now we're at 1 in every 90 or so. I've contacted Lexar directly and they're sending me an RMA questionnaire via email. According to tech support, the turnaround on the return will be from 14-21 days so I will return to this review whenever the process is complete and I've tested the new card. I do know the issue is with the card because I can shoot with my Nikon d700/d300 or a friend's Canon 5d Mk II and the ratio of bad images to good is practically identical, even after formatting the card before each test. Fingers crossed!

2Defective
By Climbing357
I still have trust in Lexar memory cards albeit somewhat less after receiving this 32GB card for my camera and was horrified to find out that some of the pictures taken with the card was corrupt. I called Lexar and they were very receptive so I'm returning this card for hopefully a flawless replacement.
