Wonderful product and excellent price.

I have been using this product on both of my dogs for 6 months now and the results have been amazing. My dogs dull, dry coats and flakey skin are now soft, shinny, and no more dry skin. For those complaining about no pump, do what I did, purchase a small pump bottle, it is easier to handle and solves your problem, unless you just like to have something to complain about. I highly reccommend this product and the price is great compared to other companies I have researched.

Life Line Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil; 66 oz.

I purchased this item rather than Bear Treats Salmon Oil due to the lower price. The viscosity appears to be a little thicker (fifty-weight rather than forty-weight) but otherwise there isn't any difference I can tell. Even smells the same. I tried giving the recommended dosage but, just like commercial dog food companies, it was a 'way larger dose than my dog needed at 75 lbs. Backyard got kind of soupy, if you know what I mean. When I backed off the dosage to half that recommended everything was fine, however the fecal matter is still a bit too soft for my preference. (This was also true with Bear Treats.) As most purchasers of the product mention, there is no self-measuring spout as there is with Bear Treats. I just took the spout from the empty Bear Treats bottle and screwed it onto the Life Line bottle and son-of-a-gun if it didn't work just fine. As far as my dog is concerned the oil does seem to help with her "arthur" and her coat, while not shiny, is no longer dry and she is not shedding nearly as much as before I started using salmon oil. Good stuff, but you need to use your intellect to adjust the dosage.

Good product but starting to look else where.

My fiance and I had been purchasing salmon oil from our local Petsmart for about two years up until they raised the prices to $26 for a 16oz. bottle. After doing a bit of research, we decided to switch over to lifeline's salmon oil and are happily recieving the same results in our two labs. They both still have beautiful coats and pearly white teeth at a fraction of the price. I've had the same 66oz. bottle going on two months now and it's still over half full. I'm a believer.(REVISED 4-1-2012) I'm revising my review for the simple fact that life line has almost double their prices in less than 6 months. The last 128 ounce bottle of Salmon Oil I purchased was on 10-7-2011 for $52.97(Same price they have had for over a year.) They are now asking close to $90 for the same 128ounce product. This if very unfortunate because I do believe in their product, but, I will not pay those outrageous prices. I guess I'll just go back to purchasing the salmon oil at my local pet store.Sincerely,a very disappointed customer.
