REAL Workboots!

I cant remember the last time I had to REALLY break in a pair of work boots because of the thickness of the leather, but that is me this year! I am a utility worker that is on my feet all day working with chemicals and water mains, services and treatment plants and have been for over 15 years. My aim this year was to get a great pair of American Made boots that just might last me all year. I'm off to a great start! When my boots arrived they were packaged with class and attention to detail. I unwrapped them and found them beautifully made. The leather was thick yet my feet rested so well in the soft comfortable soles. It took a few days to break them in, but now they take a beating and hold up strong for me! If your looking for a well made, durable yet comfortable and handsome pair of boots, then try these! The size was right on, so order according to your true boot size. Thank you.

Well made, once over brief break in very comfortable and supportive. Color of leather is very sharp and would make a great casual boot as well as fine workboot.

First pair of chippiwas never going back to anything else

After wearing china boots for years I finally decided to make the swith to resoleable made in the US boots.These boots are great so far. They are very stiff for the first couple of days. That being said I did not have any hot spots or any discomfort on my feet. I would say you need five days to initally break in the boots.The leather is very heavy and the boot overall is great quality. I aidded the break in by applying a high quality mink oil to the boots for the first few days of wear.The inside of the boot is just smoth leather. The area around the steel toe has addition padding in the inside that is very well made. The stockbridge Viabrim sole is perfect for my line of work which is an elevator mech. The sole will not hold grease and does not trip me up when walking on steel.
