These shoes are light weight and fast! They feel great without socks, no sore spots or rubbing whatsoever. The first day that I ran in them they felt better than my regular running shoes. I normally run in brooks running shoes and I do not like running on the side walk with them because I can feel more impact with the brooks. The pearls felt great on the concrete and the asphalt. They pull on fast and seem to be a neutral shoe. My only word of caution is that they are fairly aggressive! If you are used to running in shoes with a thick sole this might not be a good fit.

Love Pearl Izumi stuff in general hence why i bought these. First run felt good. These just feel light, fast, and comfortable even without socks. I will say that they feel 1/2 size small i.e I could not wear socks if that was my intent. I wear a 12 1/2 or 13 these I probably need a 13 1/2 Not really a problem and they are great but I will probably wind up buying a pair 1/2 size larger in the future.

When it comes to shoes, I am really picky, but after having had these shoes for a couple of weeks now and using them on a daily base I must say these are Great. They slip on really easy with no having to ties laces. The fit is a little on the smaller side and therefore I had to exchange for a 1/2 size bigger, but once you get the proper fit you will be in for a surprise. :)I did notice that for some reason (maybe that they are a Minimalist shoe?) I get a greater work out with these. They are different from your typical running shoes. I really break a sweat when running in these! If you're sitting on the sidelines on these shoes, just buy them! You won't regret it.Nice shoesNice feelVery breathable
