Right Item, Works Right, Looks Great

This item was an exact replacement for the cracked LCD screen on my HP EliteBook. The cracked screen was my fault. Make sure you order the correct item. The replacement screen was a different manufacturer from the original, but a very well known brand. Replacement of the LCD screen is not for the faint of heart, shakey hand, or poor vision. You need a T-8 Torx driver and very small Phillips screwdriver. Radio Shack has a nice bit driver tool set with a comfortable driver handle and numerous small driver bits. HP provides pretty good instructions on their Web site. Go slow and be careful. The operation is mostly mechanical. East Coast LCDs delivered the item when promised, and it came well protected in the shipping box. The results are fantastic.
