Product Description
This is a 50 filters set for a standard Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration Unit or any type of Water Filtration Unit with 10” housing. The specifications of the set are as follows: 50 of Melt-blown Polypropylene Sediment filters – Sediment filter is often the first filter installed in the Reverse Osmosis circuit. Sediment filters are made of fine melted polypropylene, which is then blown and spun in a cylinder-like form. The main function of a sediment filter is to remove large and fine particles from a drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust particles. Removal of such particles allows for a better performance of all the following filters, such as Carbon Block or GAC filters. Micron rating: 1 Micron. Dimensions: 9.75” x 2.5” Lifetime: Replace two or three times a year, depending on the water quality.

Big box convenience

I'm really happy with these filters. The filtration has been great, no sediment in our water, and I don't have to run to the store to pick up new filters every couple months. This box will last us a couple years.It's great to see this product sold in this quantity.

Great filters at a great price

These filters cleared up my water. Outlet pressure is still the same... I was concerned that going from 25 to 1 micron filters would be too much restriction, but all is well. Been going for over 3 weeks and outlet pressure is barely falling off, indicating a filter change is coming due. I planned on changing every week to ten days, so I am extremely pleased with this product and will order more when needed.

I change our water filter every two weeks due to the heavy amount of iron and minerals in our water. I have used aabout 20 of these filters now and I have to say they are the best filters I have ever used. There are visible results - you can actually tell the water is cleaner by just looking at it.One item to note, these filters are 10" in length which is just a bit longer than the standard filters. I have to trim about 1/4" of the end of each filter for it to fit. However, this is easily accomplshed with a sharp utility knive.
