We (Puzzle Master) have ranked all Revomazes (present and future releases) as level 10 in difficulty. Revomaze has ranked their puzzles so you can see which are the most difficult within this Level 10 difficulty. Revomaze ranks all their puzzles using a difficulty scale that goes to 100. This Revomaze I - blue (there will eventually be more Revomazes coming in the future) is ranked as 50/100.
The Revomaze is a well manufactured metal puzzle made to exacting standards. This is a solid metal puzzle weighing in at just over 1 1/2 lbs / 600g.
To open the puzzle, you need memory, dexterity, endurance and self-control. By twisting, pulling and pushing the central shaft, you need to carefully guide it to the end where two marks will line up. Opening the puzzle reveals a signed Certificate of Ownership.
Revomaze is a group of 5 puzzles beautifully precision crafted in quality metal, each with their own colour and increasing level of difficulty. When you master one you can then learn new tricks on the next to keep you occupied for some time. The Blue Revomaze is the first in the series of 5 puzzles.

Excellent brain teaser and finger punisher

Getting my hands on this maze was a little bit challenging as the manufacture is in the UK [...]. But then the fun started, right out of the box you will be surprised how heavy this maze truly is. At 790 grams it would easily break a toe or dent a nice floor if given the chance. The maze itself is very high quality with each shaft machined from a solid brass bar and the sleeve from solid anodized aluminum. The machine cuts a path into the shaft, which you must follow with a spring loaded pin. But its not quite that simple...Take care not to fall into one of the deeper traps which take you to only one place...Back to the beginning! If while solving the puzzle you hear the fatal *click* then the trap is sprung and you will have to go back to the beginning. The best and most infuriating thing about this maze is you cannot cheat, period, as you are not able to see the inner workings of the maze until its solved (or taking a saw to it). But with with the power of memory and the dexterity of your fingers you can solve it(mapping is strongly encouraged on the more difficult levels). And for all you who think you can just search for the map on the internet I can guarantee that you WILL NOT FIND IT. One of the beauties of this maze is that the community that has grown around solving these puzzles is very tight lipped and while they are glad to provide help the only place you will fined a map will be on the Revomaze forums that you will only have access to after you solve the puzzle and register the code that is contained inside the maze. One word of warning though you WILL KILL YOUR FINGERS trying to solve this puzzle, namely your thumb. Unless your a masochist and enjoy punishing your fingers to the brink of motor failure you will have to take a break from time to time. In the end this is a great puzzle that I very much enjoyed and I look forward to purchasing the other levels in the near future.
