Beautiful watch

This really is a beautiful watch -- I am very happy with my purchase. Two things I did not know: 1) the watch requires movement to keep it from stopping (so if you leave the watch for a day without wearing it, you will need to reset it) and 2) the watch is not completely sound proof so you can hear the dials moving when it is close to your ear. Both minor things and otherwise I think it is very striking and pretty.

I collect fine watches and this Baume and Mercier 8868 watch is simple and elegant with an windowed caseback that allows you to admire the "works".The face is lovely, the size is appropriate, not outsized as so many expensive watches are these days. Glad I added it to my collection.

I was not surpized at the watch. I had seen it at Macy's for alot more $. Amazon had great price. One of my best dress watches. totaly awesome watch.
