simple fun

I first played with some of these in the kids area at an art museum with my girlfriend. They were fun enough that I bought some for the living room in my house. I'm a 29 year old mechanical engineer and enjoy putting together random creations on the coffee table. Others who come over like to use them too. These are great toys for all ages that are simple enough to allow and promote lots of creativity. 300 ct is about right for qty to allow a couple people some building freedom. Gives plenty of options. Buy em!

I bought one box for my art classroom and one for my 2-yr old. My daughter loves stacking them and knocking them down. My students have really gotten into the creativity of designing their own towers. I have had one student build his building so high that he had to stop at the ceiling. Lots and lots of pictures. Get the kids out of the just drawing rut. We may have some future Architects on our hands here!

One of the parents of my students donated a bunch of these blocks to my classroom for rainy days, and the kids LOVE them. I teach first grade, and we have fourth grade buddies come play with us sometimes, and everyone is extremely happy with these blocks. When Christmas came around, I knew these would be a great addition to my nearly 3-year old son's toy collection. At the moment, he doesn't do a lot of building. He balances the blocks on the long narrow side and puts several near each other in this fashion, and then asks us to knock it down. He gets a huge kick out of knocking down the towers my husband and I build, often not letting us get anywhere near finished with them.This is a toy that I feel confident my family will enjoy for years to come. The blocks are simple and there are so many ways to build with them. They are sturdy and hold up to a rambunctious toddler declaring that he'll, "blow house down," followed by the most efficient destruction imaginable without any signs of wear and tear.
