Quality choice and friendly design

Easily installed by a non-plumber family member. Quality material and sleek design. Pull down sprayer uses gravity to glide up and down; ingenious magnet easily and securely locks it in place when not in use. Swings sideways with ease. High arc is convenient to fill pots and generally stays out of the way of a crowded sink. Definitely a fixed right-handed faucet/faucet control if that makes a difference to you.

The photo is not accurate

Having purchased Delta before, I expected great quality. We never installed it and it's highly probable the quality was great, but my problem lies in the styling. The Amazon photo shows a sleek faucet. Little did I know in reality it has major grooves on the handle and spout that I thought were shadows or shine of the metal in the photo. My husband described it as a floral design. I'd just say it's too busy for me; I want sleek and simple. It was very "thick", large, and seemed over-sized to my older Delta high-arc. It also weighs a ton. The style just didn't work for us. I'm sure it's high quality but I ended up going with the Delta high arc "Ashton" faucet instead. Delta Ashton 19922-SSSD-DST Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser, Stainless Much less grooves to clean, less dramatic styling, and more our taste. I'd recommend you see this Addison faucet in person before you press the 'add to cart' button. I've noticed faucets right now are either nice and simple or way-over-the-top with the needless and harder-to-clean styling. Thankfully Amazon took it back no problems and I purchased the Ashton, after viewing it in-store.P.S. Amazon ships this in the manufacturer box, so don't expect an outer box for protection, etc.

Works well but pull-down feels cheap and lightweight

I purchased the Addison to replace a Kohler Vinnata faucet that is about 5 years old. The Kohler faucet started leaking at the handle and a check on the internet turned up a lot of unresolved complaints about the same issue. After trying to fix it, and living with it for a couple months, I decided it needed to be replaced and researched some good but less expensive models.This faucet received great reviews, and looked very similar to the Kohler I was replacing, so I felt confident buying it. When the item came, I didn't open the box - just left it for the plumber who installed it without a problem.So - you may be wondering, why only 4 stars? Three reasons:* the pull-down sprayer feels like it's made of lightweight plastic and is drastically different from the solid, heavier feel of the Kohler faucet.* water leaves spots on the stainless anywhere it touches but I never had a single water spot show on the Kohler in 5 years.* the handle needs to be seated back in the exact right spot to completely shut off the water. The Kohler could be turned off anywhere - hot, cold and anywhere in-between.Other than that, we've been using the faucet a week and it seems to function well. This faucet runs about $300 less than the Kohler. I can't see spending the extra $300 but, I have to admit, I really miss the look and feel of the Vinnata. In other words, if I had nothing to compare the Addison faucet to, I'd probably be perfectly satisfied!**Finally, a design FYI: the on/off handle sits up very high on the faucet and is a bit longer than the Kohler handle. Due to the handle placement, and because it can only be seated off in one spot, the handle interferes with the wood blinds covering the window behind the sink. We now have to keep the blinds raised about two inches from the sill which looks goofy.
