I put these steps on my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab. They work great and are very durable. The steps actually move faster the the same style steps that are on the Platinum Fords. They are very easy to install, the instructions are great and they are very simple to wire.

I was hesitant to get these because of the perceived difficulty in getting them installed. I'm not a gear head and so I usually pay someone to do this kind of thing for me just so that I don't mess it up myself. Well after looking at the provided directions by Amp Research, they were so well done and so easy to follow that I decided to try and install them myself. I called a buddy of mine to come over to help and we were able to get it done in maybe 6 hours. Experienced guys would take about 4 so we didn't do too bad. We had to make a few minor adjustments to get the steps to tuck nicely under the truck but everything worked out really well. Figured I saved myself about $300 by doing it myself. It's been on my truck for a few months now and it hasn't fallen off yet so I'm happy!
