This can be a wise investment depending on your situation.

I run the sound equipment for my church, including four handheld wireless mics, one lapel mic, and an ear set mic. And we are growing. Right now all of this equipment uses the 9 V batteries.I originally invested in a pack of Non-rechargeable 9 V batteries through Amazon and got them for a good price. The problem that I encountered is that when a battery gets low whoever is using the mic starts to drop in and out and I am faced with a situation whether to swap in a new battery? It usually happens in the middle of a song or halfway through the pastor's sermon.Because the non-rechargeable batteries last a long time it is not efficient to get rid of them before they are drained and it can get very costly to do so. It's a guessing game of how much charge is left in them and trying to keep track of how long they have been used.With these Tenergy batteries and the charger I can swap fully charged batteries into all the mics for each service or whenever. I don't know how long the batteries would last, but they have still been going strong in our practices after three hours. And because the charger maintains the batteries without hurting them I can just leave the batteries all in the charger until I need some.Works great for me in my situation.

Church Microphones

We use rechargeable batteries in the wireless mics in our church A/V system. They get used heavily for about 2 hours a week, then sit on the charger the rest of the week. I know this is hard on them, and I am never surprised when they don't last more than 18 months or so. My hope was that by buying a charger and the corresponding batteries as a kit, instead of using one brand of charger and another brand of batteries we would be better off.These had better ratings, but a lover (200mah) rating than the others I looked at, so I was nervous about buying them. While we only use them for 2 hours a week, they HAVE to work during those 2 hours. With out much of a budget (NONE) this was coming ount of my pocket and I did not want to drop $60+ bucks and find out they did not sufficiently power our mics.As it turns out - they work perfectly. We are 3 months in, and have been really impressed. We have also been impressed with the fact that the few devices we use in which the batteries sit unused for the rest of the week (off charger), the remaining charge after a week off charger is really high still. I know this is because they are LSD (low self discharge) but it is still a leap forward in battery technology, and appreciated.I'll go with 4 stars instead of 5 because we are only 3 months into use - if they make it longer than 18 months I will return and give 5 stars!

Received them within a decent time and have not had problems with the batteries. We use them 4 times a week for 2 hours and have a great battery life.
