Tivoli Audio is Great, as usual!!

This is my second Tivoli Audio radio (I own a Model One since the beginning of Tivoli Audio story).This SongBook was purchased for terrace/outdoor use, not travel, for this use is a bit bulky/heavy for me.I must say that sound quality is a tad lower than Model One, but hey!, the case is smaller, plastic and portable.So, given all the constraints, the sound quality is astonishing and highly rewarding!!!!Reception is perfect (both AM and FM) and, when used as an amplifier, does his job at a very high standard.I've put inside it 6 Hybrid rechargable AA size batteries that the SongBook charges perfectly.If I can suggest Tivoli Audio to enhance something (minor):- double the FM station memories (software permits almost anything nowadays);- make the snooze time longer than 20 minutes (a selectable one between 10 and 90 minutes - like many other manufacturers do as a standard 'de facto' - is advisable);- battery charging also during radio operation.Bottom lineI suggest this radio to anyone wanting the best portable on this Planet!!

Better Than I thought

Based on the reviews of similar products, I was a little apprehensive.However, I was pleasantly surprised: the reception is good, the sound is on par with the price (although I wish the bass/treble were adjustable - a little too much bass for my taste). 4 stars because it's on the expensive side.If you use rechargeable batteries this model WILL recharge them - You never have to remove the batteries (6 x AA) to charge them - that's good too because they are kinda hard to install.Other features: The battery compartment is locked with a screw (removable with a dime). Can also be hung on the wall(with a picture frame hook). Alarm/Sleep & clock - display light.

Not cheap but great sound and a beautiful radio. And the yellow is very cool. It does need a cord to plug into iPhone.
