By Giovanni Sanchez
I've wanted a pair of headphones like this for sometime now because these seem to las much longer than the little wire ones that go in or around your ear. I wanted a pair that wasn't too bulky, big, and overpriced which naturally ruled out the highly acclaimed Beats by Dre headphones. I wanted a pair that i could take around with me, that would fold, and look nice on me while i wear them. Well i found them! Urbanears won me over at a store i saw them at. If i had seen them here on Amazon first, i probably would have not bought them with previous comments, but i truly think if you are in any type of situation like I was in, then these are the headphones for you. What I like:Fits nicely on your headNot too big not too small ear coversGREAT SOUND!Folds nicelyComes in many colors to choose from.Come with extra jacks for devices with diff mm inputsWhat I dislike:Does tend to get a little uncomfortable if worn for a long time, but what headphones don't. Nothing that would make me want my money back.If you have studded earrings, they are tight enough to push the back pin into your skin. Nothing serious, but really uncomfortable. With proper placement it goes away.It doesn't come with a built in volume adjuster, which isn't too much to ask for when the price is what it isIt wouldn't have killed them to make their brand name more visible on the product but this may be a good thing for those that do not like to advertise brand names. What i love:The phone headset feature! One button to start a call with voice calling (at least for those blackberry users), same button mutes, and ends call.Crisp clean sounds of other person's voice coming in, and they can hear you better with the small mic feature.I love the fabric cord! finally an upgrade from all the cheap little wires that get tangled and short out in a month. The extra 3mm headphone jack so that a friend or partner can share in your music.Overall:A very good headphone set with minor technicalities but major features that i'm sure consumers will enjoy. As an avid Amazon prime customer, i just wanted to give back a review to those that need it in making their decision.

Having spent a serious portion of my early life doing professional audio, I'm more than a little critical. These are GREAT cans. Good audio response, small size, well thought out cabling.I particularly like the choice of flexweave wire, and fabric covering. Super flexible, and known to be quite durable. (If your cat doesn't chew through it.)However, just as hats don't come in one size fits all...these and any other on-the-ear headphoneswill be uncomfortable for some. For the record, my hat size is 7.5 (US) and my ears stick outalmost as badly as our current president's. And these are STILL comfortable, although I haven'tworn them for more than an hour at a time, so far.For 60 bucks, you can't go wrong, particularly if you have an iPhone and want to be ableto take calls. I was forced to get my wife a pair, just to keep her from bogarting mine. She settled on hot pink, not the purple. Mine are steel grey. The designer colors are a nice touch.Reports of sound quality issues are simply misinformed. Or the product of hearing impairment (or maybe product variation?). I own several headsets. One for simple communications, two for studio narration work, multiple ear buds, and these. These are simply the best I've owned or used in as long as I can remember. For the price, you can't go wrong. Unless your hat size is a lot larger than mine, then they'll be tight, and I advise something for over the ear, instead of on it.NOTE: my grandsons broke theirs, and my son and his wife are critical of them as being insufficiently robust. YMMV. I don't see how they did it, frankly. But if you have teenagers, robustness may be an issue.

I read several reviews before buying a pair here on amazon. I picked them up at a discount on Labor Day weekend from Off Saks for like $38. I had reservations about the size, as I have rather large ears, and am a male. But I don't wear earrings so I don't have much of the discomfort that several of the female reviewers do. But I do wear glasses occasionally and that can cause some pinching on the back of my head. Prolonged use to turn my ears red and my jaw actually starts to hurt for whatever weird reason. As for the SOUND, I read about the muddiness of it, and yes, when listening to some rock or metal I did notice it. But the headphones really excel when it comes to bass, and I listen to A LOT of DUBSTEP. So for the price I got them at, yes, this was a great buy. Why blow $179 on "trendy" Beats when you can get the simplisticly sick design and bright colors of Urbanears. It looks great, and sounds great. And the rope cord is pretty chill too. This is a definite buy.
