Attractive, Tough, Easy to Read and High Quality

With its horizontally textured white face, extra large 2-digit date display at 12 o'clock and very liberal use of Super-luminova on the narrow hands and hour markers, this is one of the most readable watches I own, in daylight or dark. It features a screw-down crown, beveled screw on back with internal O-ring seal and is rated water resistant to 1000 ft. The timing bezel surrounding the face rotates in very smooth steps, 120 per revolution. The small seconds hand at 6 o'clock is perfectly aligned with its tic marks at all positions, unlike many watches with large seconds hands whose alignment drifts as it moves around the dial. The watch case is brushed stainless steel with polished accents and is very attractively finished, practically screaming "Quality!" Its tough, too. After a lot of use, it has accumulated very few scratches, none easily visible. A very tough sapphire crystal, with anti-reflection coating, is eerily smooth to the touch and seems immune to damage as well. This is a watch you can wear with a suit (and I often have) or out swimming at the beach with equal ease. It will survive and still look sharp long after you've taken it out of the box. Mine has a double-locking metal bracelet with a divers extension and micro adjustment clasp pins. This bracelet is very conventional in design and appearance, but is also well made and reasonably comfortable.PROS: Attractive styling, very tough design that resists damage and does not show wear easily, real water resistance and the brightest lume treatment of any watch I've ever seen. Really - the hands, markers and timing bezel dot all glow like a beacons in the dark, and for a long time, too. Its quartz accuracy and battery operation means its always ready to go at a moments notice, even after days or weeks of non-use, unlike mechanical watches.CONS: Just one, really. The quartz movement is not very accurate for this type of watch, drifting about 96 seconds per year on mine. Generally I expect a good quality quartz movement to drift less than 60 seconds per year, though many are rated at 180 sec/year drift. So I expect to reset the time about 4 times per year. This is my favorite everyday watch. I grab it every time I don't want to take the time to adjust and wind a mechanical watch. Sometimes available at just under four figures, this watch is a very good value for a respected Swiss quartz brand, with excellent styling and jewel-like finish. Its resistance to damage and wear is a real plus.

Great product, took 5days to Australia!!!

I was a little scared about paying this much money online shopping but it was a huge saving compared tothe prices in the shops here. I've ordered plenty of books, dvd's and Blurays from Amazon but never anythingat this price! I bought it for my husbands birthday and it got here in 5 days as promised and it is very nice, brand new, working and my husband was very happy! it's a little larger than average and a nice solid feel to it, he took it to be adjustedand only had to pay $20 for that, so very happy!!
