Better than I though it would be

I ordered this massage chair for my wife for after her long days at work...so she can massage on me. Just kidding:) For $50 it was a good deal but I thought it would be pretty flimsy at this price point compared to the other ones. I figured it's only for home use and if she doesn't like the way I massaged on her I can throw it in the garage and it wasn't a big deal since I didn't pay an arm or a leg. But to much surprise it's very sturdy and the padding is very plush. It also came with an aluminum head piece which, to my understanding, is a $40 upgrade for some of the other chairs online. Since we bought this chair I've had a chance to massage on my wife almost everyday. She loves her gift. Highly recommend it! I also ordered the, "Mastering Chair Massage" dvd and learned a lot of great techniques.

I purchased this massage chair for use at our nursing home, so that residents and staff can enjoy the benefits of a backrub. It works very well, sturdy and comfortable, light weight and portable, reasonable price.

You are in for a decent chair but most likely a small headache!

First thing first... just know that different colors of this chair show different reviews...-It DID require assembly, which in other reviews said that it did not. The seat had to be attached to the chair base, which would normally be no big deal. Except the screw they sent for this to be done was too short. I am going out to find a replacement screw and wing nuts and then all will be well.-I read a comment from someone that said the material that covers the the chair wrinkles. I do have that going on even after using the chair just once. But the cushion seems to be a memory foam material, so that is why the material puckers.-I feel the head rest is almost out of reach for the head. It feel like I have to stretch to reach it. I think the padding in the chest plate is too thick, making it hard to place your head in the face rest. And the padding in the face rest to be too thin and not of the same cushion as the rest of the chair. but that is easily replaceable.-One note on the head rest bracket... if you find that it slips, there is a tension screw on one side. Once tightened I had zero problems there.-The chair seems very sturdy when you sit... but I noticed that the backing is all ply wood, I have worries about how the chair will hold up.-Lastly the feet of the chair are just hard plastic with NO grip. I will have to buy a small rug unless i want to be pushing clients across the floor!WHEW!!But for the money I am pleased.
