Warmer than my previous down comforter

I bought this comforter because it was time to replace my old down comforter. Turns out that this down-alternative comforter is even warmer than my previous down comforter.I'm not kidding, if you're only just a bit chilly at night, then this comforter will be too much warmth for you -- it's THAT warm. But it's just the thing for those really cold winter nights.The price was very reasonable, and the stitched squared pattern makes it easy to fold at the foot of the bed.The dimensions listed by the manufacturer are accurate. I measured the dimensions of my bed, then ordered a Twin size, even though my bed is a California King, because the Twin dimensions were almost exactly what I needed to fit my bed, with only an inch or two overhang on the sides.The reviewer who complained of a chemical smell was too hasty in posting their review. The chemical smell is a consequence of the plastic packaging, and disappears in a couple of days.An excellent value. Highly recommended.

This comforter is thick and warm with a pleasantly smooth cotton shell, just like the one that I loved to pieces over the last twelve years. Neatly stitched, too. It's a pity it comes only in white, because this is a very nice product for the mid to low price range.

Ever since I bought my first home back in 2004 at Seattle, where the winters there get pretty chilly, I have repeatedly tried to research, find and buy the elusive down comforter online. In the last few years I have purchased (and returned) 3-5 comforters, all in the hopes to getting the one which has the perfect combination of price, comfort, warmth, look, and noise. Unfortunately no comforter I bought have managed to achieve that perfect combination.. either they were too light in down fill power, or too noisy, or too expensive. Until I came across this set!This set of down alternative comforter really exceeded my expectations. I purchased the King sized, Overfilled version. It is packed fully with the fill, with each box of down-alternative nicely stitched throughout the entire comforter. It is warm, and very comfortable for me to sleep in the with low heat at 50 degrees nights.**Normally with down alternatives, our first worry is the comfort will not be the same as genuine down**, (I had this bias as well), but this comforter changed my thinking. I love to wrap myself in these on lazy cold sundays! I now realized a well made down-alternative comforter can actually beat out real-down comforter.For the price I highly recommend this. it is the best set I have found online. NOTE: if you are looking for spring/summer comforters, I would not go with these, as the overfilled power is definitely suited for cold nights. Personally I am so satisfied with this I will be buying their comforter mattress pad next!
