5Cool toy
By carl emmanuel woolley
If you're one of those guys who like the idea of lego without compromising with the blocky shape the human figure has, then you're in luck Because the assemble borgs are exactly that. The assemble borgs are by kaiyodo's Revoltech line, which is famous for their robot figures and anime character renditions.there is no anime background on these toys, but that doesn't change how cool this figure is.it has swappable parts with other assemble borgs and figures of the line, its highly articulated ,has a ton of swappable hands and weapons and is durable.Really cool toy.

4Very cool but too expensive.
By J. Curry
If you've never heard of Revoltech before they are a line of action figures that span many many different movie, tv, manga, anime, and video game licenses. From Jurassic Park to Trigun to Transformers to Zone of The Enders to Evangelion. The one thing that every single one of these toys share besides awesome paint and sculpts are the Revoltech joint system. A revoltech joint is just a ratcheted ball joint. The pins at either end of the ball joint go into the arms, legs, torsos, heads, etc. for a ton of articulation that stays tight for years to come.So what license is this guy from? None! He and the others like him are an original creation. Assemble Borgs! This is a pretty neat gamble on Kaiyodo's part but I don't think it's going to pan out.So for $30 you get a figure with a lot of spare joints, hands, plastic weapons and strange cyborg inspired parts to mix and match to create your own unique look for your figure. It comes in a plain looking cardborg box and inside of that is the figure on a bubble card back (iirc).Because you can mix and match ALL revoltech figures you can think of the Assemble Borg figures as a blank canvas to get crazy with. The hands work with most of the weapons that you'll find throughout the Revoltech line too.The Baron has a knight style visor/helmet thingy for a head. It's my personal favorite look out of the three figures. The translucent body parts look smokey gray or blue depending on the lighting. Seriously there is quite the range in how the color will show. These are all pretty darn cool. I'd buy more but at $30 I just don't feel that the price is totally justified. If you are really into Revoltech I recommend that you buy one but if you are new to the line I feel that you are better off finding a character that you really like and going with that. It's certainly a neat experiment.

5These are really cool toys!
By Lee Lloyd
I've been a fan of modular, reconfigurable toys since I got my first Micronaut as a child. These toys follow in that tradition, as one of the coolest toys you are ever likely to come across. I first came across them on a trip to Tokyo a few years ago, and was unbelievably excited to see Amazon selling them. The ones currently available, are just Series 1. There are a total of four series out in Japan, and I imagine they will be coming over here if there is a market for them. The greatest thing about the toys, is that they all use interchangeable joints, so parts from the vehicles and figures can be mixed to make your own creations, in an infinite number of combinations. The ratcheting joints on the toys are also a great selling point for people like me who like to set them in really dynamic poses, either as desk toys, or to take fun photographs of them. It is definitely a geek item, but if you have fond memories of your old Micronauts, or just love cool toys, you definitely owe it to yourself to pick up a couple of these, and have some fun making cool original creations. Of the stock available, I would recommend one of the figures, and the Assemble Borg: Barrels Speeder - Revoltech. bike, because that gives you a lot of cool parts to have fun with.
