super value for the quality

I have one of the Starrett cowl kits that cost me over $170 but worked to control dust when using a carbide hole saw to cut in for recessed ceiling lights or cutting in wall tile in a kitchen or bathroom. After the Starrett cowl kit went missing I looked for another one but found this setup instead. The shield is big enough for a hole saw and yet fits in places where the Starrett was too big to fit. The shield has slots which catch the dust so I can see better and the orange knob on the Hole Pro shield (not the Starrett cowl kit) lets me control how deep the hole cutter cuts. This is useful when cutting out holes in walls for pancake boxes so I don't cut more than I need to cut for the box. The arbor has both 1/2" and 5/8" threads and nothing to change or lose like the Starrett kit.

Dust shield worked as advertised. The shaft does not move freely once you get some dust in there but that frustration is much less then cleaning up if you do not use this tool.

Great product. Have used various Hole Saws but this one was the best ever. Highly recommend to any otherr professional.Cut in 72 celing light in sheet rock in no time. Really controls dust and was amazed how well it performed.
