Product Description
Features red and green illumination. The super strong 30mm body tube is finished in a matt black to prevent unwanted reflections. The fully-multi-coated 30mm optical system gives a brighter clearer image, designed to perform in low light hunting and shooting conditions. 42mm objective lens. Smaller diameter objective enables a lower mounting position on rifles, keeping the shooters head lower and better barrel alignment. Side focus parallax control with 2 inch diameter wheel supplied. Focus from minimum 10 yards to infinity. The open sniper style turrets are calibrated to 1/4 MOA per click. To adjust the turrets the whole assembly is pulled up to unlock, then once adjusted they can be securely locked back into position. The turrets are simply reset to 0 by loosening a hex screw on the top. Illuminated red/green reticle with five separate levels of brightness including ultra low settings for dawn and dusk and high settings for daytime. Black in off position. Powered by a single CR2032 battery. Adjustable ocular focus with anti-recoil lock ring. Non slip zoom ring with secure thumb bump for a more positive action. Supplied with 4 inch long sunshade to prevent glare in bright conditions. Packed in reusable hard travel case for safe storage when not in use. The 10x and 20 x 1/2 Mil Dot reticles are a fully floating design. They feature dots and ties space as 1/2 Mil Dot spacing. The hollow bars are calibrated for 0.2 Mil spacing and whole Mil spacing. Features side rheostat (red/green), coil erector spring, true 30mm FMC optics, fast focus eyebell with lock ring and all weather zoom ring. It is waterproof, shockproof and fog proof.

By Scott Lipsett
After much research I decided to take the chance on this Hawke scope for a budget build, and I couldn't be happier. First range trip yesterday, and after sighting in shot five 3-shot groups which averaged .529", with a best group of .400". This with a totally stock 700 SPS varmint in Remington's questionable plastic stock. Coincidentally, the guy next to me on the line had the same rifle with a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20 on it (an $1100 scope). The difference in sight picture was minimal, the Hawke has by far the nicer reticle and is illuminated when you want. I think you'd have to spend 4X what this scope cost to do better, and then you need to be sure YOU are good enough for the extra $$ to matter.

By Juan Saravia
I won't be spending $100 - $250 on Leapers scopes anymore, which by the way are a great value, because this scope is on another league..!! You won't regret spending $400 on this beauty. Great optics, lots of light, very clear, and it looks just mean..!! Always look for the right rings, this scope looks and performs better as close to your gun as possible.

By joseph j patton
This scope has great glass for the money. I've had it on a .223 rifle for six months now and have shot out to 400 yards. The image is as bright and clear as the Bushnell Elite scopes I have owned. Comes with an indestructible hard-case (might have been over-kill), screw-in scope caps and a 4 inch sun shade. The issues I have with the scope are some simple oversights in its design. The screw-in cap will not screw into the sun shade, only the scope itself. Also, I'm personally not crazy about having the illumination selector on the same knob as the parallax adjustment. Get one of these scopes before they start raising the price!!
