excellent unit for post surgery relief

i rarely write reviews on amazon though i've been a customer since 1999. this product is an exception.a family member had surgery and i was looking at a device that is an ice cooler rigged with a motor. saw this ossur cold therapy unit with prime overnight shipping on amazon. no reviews about the product on amazon or elsewhere on the web. i was concerned about the quality of this unit, but got it none the less because it looked like a unit you would see in a hospital.this unit performs like commercial medical equipment. it is well designed, compact and very quiet. the patient is very happy with the relief it provides.make sure that you get the right pad attachment (shoulder, knee etc.), as the price is for the unit only (as noted). one caution, amazon bundles the unit with a shoulder pad that is not prime eligible. if you unselect that and search for the shoulder pad, there are other sellers who sell the pad with prime shipping (i mainly needed the overnight shipping). it would be nice if amazon showed prime eligible add on items first.
