BEST Baby Mat!

When my son was first born, we were given a regular, small round play mat. It was great for the first few months until he started rolling over and getting caught on the bars. There just wasn't enough space for him. When I found this mat at another store I could tell it was perfect, but there was no way I was going to pay the $85 they were asking. When I found this so much cheaper on Amazon I was so excited! This is large enough for my 6-month old to motor around on. But my favorite feature of this mat is the unique fold up sides. It is so helpful to keep him from rolling off the mat, and he loves looking at the cute, friendly animals on the sides. This is the best mat you can buy, we don't travel anywhere without it. A must buy for any parent of active babies!

Not worth the money

My friend gave us her Bright Starts Baby's Playgym (2010) and I loved it so much that I decided to buy another one for our 3 months old daughter. I thought I had bought a similar high quality playmat as the one my friend gave us; however, as soon as I opened the package, my joy quickly turned to anger and disappointment.1) The mat is made with thin and cheap fabric(the older playmat is much thicker and heavier). After the first wash with the gentle cycle, the playmat looks as it has been washed over 10+ times.2) The side walls are not as sturdy as it is shown on the picture. Very flimsy.3) 2-in-1 electronic toy doesn't play the full length songs (very annoying even to our daughter).4) The toys are so so; our daughter gets bored with it rather quickly.For almost $80, I thought I would get a high quality playgym, not a cheap made in China piece of junk. Overall, I would not pay $80 for this if I had seen it in the store.

So-so

Received this the other day. Much bigger than I thought and it's a pain to fold up when not in use. I was also surprised that the music is not full length songs, but rather snippets. You have to press the button repeatedly to have the music play. Will see how it fairs when the child arrives. Overall, for the cost, not too impressed.
