Using it with 240V/50Hz power souce

The orbit sprinkler timer is designed for 120V/60Hz and many internet forums stated that although a power converter would deliver the correct volts the timer would not keep correct time running 50Hz instead of 60Hz. Since purchase, the timer has worked without error and kept time perfectly. The timer is of excellent quality, extremely easy to use (due to combination of slider, dial and suitable LCD screen). The options and functions are extensive and every possible situation and requirement as been thought of. Definite value for money and a great product.

Works well and integrated into the wiring of the older timer very well. Multiple zones and times of watering are supported.

I had another model Orbit controller that was difficult to program and slow to change modes. This unit is very simple-- easy to use without even looking at the instructions, just as capable as the other unit, and you can immediately see and change times on all of the stations. I don't know why you would make a controller any other way-- this is a great unit! I also purchased the optional rain sensor, and it works flawlessly with the controller.
