By M. Mercado
Unless HTC changed the color of the battery and took their logo off of the battery this is not the standard HTC battery. I'm perfectly fine with it because I bought it as a spare so my phone could last me a full day when needed, but the name of the product is very misleading and they also try to get you with the orange/reddish wrapping on the battery which doesn't even match the inside of the Evo. The biggest flaw with the product is that it doesn't even list the speculated Mah so for all I know this could be 500MaH. Again though I'm perfectly fine with it as I didn't want an extended battery as they are huge and ugly in my opinion. Just trying to inform people so that they don't make a purchase thinking that this is the official HTC Evo battery.

See my review of the Igo Anywhere Charger failure. This battery is a much better option at about 1/6th the cost of the failed Igo Anywhere ChargerThis battery out performs my original Equipment battery. It is worth it and I bought two. I leave one on my bike for a just in case I need something while far from home and a wall outlet and the other I keep with me near my HTC EVO phone. I've had to use it and now the OE is the extra battery, since this one holds up better.I'd highly recommend it.

By longcat
This battery is not fully compatible with the HTC Incredible, and probably all other phones this battery fits in.There appears to either be no thermal sensor in the battery, or it is incompatible with the HTC Incredible, as diagnostic tools like OSMonitor report the battery temperature at a constant 88.7F, regardless of whether the battery is obviously cold or obviously hot. OEM and Seidio batteries report what looks to be accurate temperatures. This means that the phone won't know to stop charging the battery if it gets too hot. This will reduce the life of the battery by causing separation of internal components in the battery if the temperature gets over 60C. The worst case scenario is that the battery will explode. While this is a cheap battery, beware that these are the types of products warranties refer to when they warn "Use of third party accessories may void warranty."
