Great Knife for the money

Already own a folding Benchmade. Needed one for use on cleaning and caping deer and around the Ranch. This knife holds a good edge and fits into my hand well. Hope to get many years of use. Thanks Benchmade

Great, until needs sharpened

Fantastic knife out of the box, leather sheath isn't my first choice for field use. I love the top of the knife blade - I tend to place my index finger on the blade for accuracy. Not a fan of the hard handle, would prefer a softer material for non-slip safety. Extra sharp from factory but D-2 steel has high chromium content which gives some stainless properties, although, it is not classified as a stainless steel. D-2 steel maintains an edge for "a while" but you better be skilled at sharpening if you want to use this knife for everyday game processing.
