Soft and thick, BUT

I needed a small 2x3 rug to keep feet warm off the tile floor with the color red to match other furnishings since the "gel"anti-fatigue mats are too ugly for my open space kitchen. However, this small size looks nothing like the picture - it is just a piece cut off the large rug pictured; the proportion of the red ends up being a large "splotch" on one side only and there is no cohesiveness or balance in the design AT ALL. It will have to do by the sink as it IS very comfortable although visually not as appealing as I had hoped.. Apart from this, the rug seems well made with a solid serge and time will tell if it holds up as a kitchen rug, also the backing is nicely finished. It is plush and tightly woven. BUT if you want a nice, somewhat even design, don't get the small rug; I am sure the larger one will look much better and closer to the full design pictured.

Great Value for the Money

The colors are very vivid and brightened up my family room that has darker leather furniture. It has a rich texture and was well worth the price. I would make other purchases from this company.
