Will fit a 17" Macbook

I bought this bag almost a year ago and it has now been on at least 20 flights- it fits in every single overhead compartment I've tried on multiple airlines, even when it's completely full. I've also never had any flight attendants question it's size, which happened regularly with my previous carry-on. I use it for my 17" Macbook Pro and it fits just fine even though it's labeled for a 15" (my 17" is a little snug with the included sleeve, but I use a neoprene fitted sleeve and never have any trouble.) The small top pocket is great for stashing your phone and boarding pass when going through security, and I'm constantly amazed at how much I can fit in this thing- I regularly travel with my laptop, several hard drives, all my cabling, and a Vanguard divider full of camera gear that takes up about half of the main compartment, and I usually have room for a few personal items too. I've put this thing through the ringer and so far have had no signs of wear other than scuffs from curbs and general use.The only problem I've had with it is it tends to be front heavy- it sits level, so if the bag is on any kind of incline and has a computer in the front pocket it will try to tip over. If they made the pegs on the bottom a little longer so the bag tipped back a bit I think it would solve this problem and it would be perfect.Good, solid, reliable bag- other than the tipping issue I'm thrilled with it.

I was looking for something exactly like this. The normal 22" carry on roller-bag was too big and too heavy for me to manage when I travel for work. Often I don't need that much space so I would have to pack extra clothes just so they wouldn't rattle around and wrinkle. This is a perfect size for weekends. My only complaint is that the interesting-looking vertical zipper on the front is too tight to slip much into. The space is half on one side of the zip and half on the other, so it's awkward and I find myself unwilling to fight with it. I'd love to slip my 3-1-1 bag into it, and can't. A wasted pocket, poorly designed.

Great size

The size of this carry-on was easy to store in overhead compartments. It is well made and sturdy and I used it for carrying camera equipment I didn't want to check. It was a very convenient size and easily pulled through narrow airplane aisles. I will be buying another for my husband as his was 22" and not nearly as easy to store especially on some of our overseas flights.
